Review: over the pass two months I have loss money on their vending soda machines, I had contact Lorreta Scott via email, she represents Canteen of Coastal California, but she states that she is following company policy's and not give me an straigh answer, they had a deffective machine at my work place, and finally got replaced yesterday, this is what she reponded today," Lorreta" Hi Juan,I spoke to my supervisor on this matter. When I said we would refund your money I thought you lost money for one drink. My supervisor said that we must follow policy Our policy is any refund over $5.00 needs to have a machine audit.This machine was short $248.85 for the year. We are not able to verify the requested amount of $27.50. All refund requests must be done in a timely manner. Me "Juan" typing again, I did called the cr prior my email on July, 30th,2013 and give my name to a lady who answered the phone but I never received any money on the mail, and I been working 2nd shift when I call customer is closed, thanksDesired Settlement: all I want is my money back, $27.50

Canteen of Coastal California Inc has always had the policy of refunding any monies lost in our vending machines. In most cases we have a refund bank on location so that a person can immediately get their money back should they lose it in one of our vendors. We do ask the individual requesting a refund to complete a refund slip so we can get some information that will help allow us to analyze and repair the equipment issue. In this instance my staff did act according to our policy since the $27.50 equates to this person losing their money 22 times in the last 2 months without contacting us which is highly unusual.
This person states that we were closed when he tried to contact our office as he works 2nd shift, we have 24 hour message service and a person on call 24/7 for any emergencies that might occur so he could have easily left a voice message that our staff would have responded to on the next day. Our call logs indicate that this individual did contact us on 8/17/2010 requesting a refund of $1.25 and the refund was returned and sent to his previous address.
However, after reviewing this complaint with my staff and in the interest of customer satisfaction we have decided to send a refund in the amount of $27.50 to this person. Check# 18542 Dated 8/27/2013.
