Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because: I was wrongfully charged with fee for his own intentionally misrepresented diagnostics or by simply misdiagnosed
Initially customer's car was brought to his attention with trust and faith he should be responsible for the outcome!
The original issue was overheating, then he concluded that there is no way but replacing engine, which was untrue and car has been running fine past month
Yes, he is totally responsible with this outcome once again!
Sincerely,*** ***

Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response
because:
As you can see from the attachment I have been extremely patient with this business and I have even tried numerous times to reach a solutionThe warranty work they speak of has been attempted repeatedly and they were unable to get it right and even caused new problems when trying to fix the original issueThey even left some essential suspension parts loose that could've possibly caused me to get into an accident I finally realized they were incapable of completing the work that I had paid for, and was left no other choice but to take it someplace else to undo whatever they didthe loaner wasn't free, I paid $for the initial use (agreed price for initial repair)I believe the rest of the time it should've be covered by the shop as they were the cause of me needing it

First of all I have few questions for N***:
First time I met you at your shop, you were talking about engine replacement with speculating your theory that I didn't know
what you taking about although I cut you off with saying I only have $to spend for the repair
you explained me that you could replace it with $that about the same amount of money I would spend since you have a connection that you can get it at cheap cost, that's pretty much the whole reason that I left my car with youweeks later you changed whole story that it will cost $to for used one
also you stated that it has blown head gasket that caused engine damage? My mechanic questioned me if you know how to dig nose of overheating, there are are signs leading to blown gasket before you disassembling parts for instance anti freeze leaking badly or milky color of antifreeze white smoke from the tail pipe
you and I there to investigate then we didn't find anything close to it but little dirty antifreeze do you recall that?
bottome line what was wrong with my car was thermo stat my mechanic found in the first place, it wasn't opening and closing to let the antifreeze thorough, he also wondering why can he start from small things first so that he could let me save money he added, after he replaced thermostat overheating was newturalized
iLee didn't get back me for 2weeks since I dropped mine off there , I called the shop week after they said they they were busy in doing other jobs
this all about the business man who is greedy and had passion for money, he doesn't care about the customer!

His story completely untrueHis engine overheat so bad that when we remove the cylinder the head bolts we found the aluminum block threat came out with the head bolts that why we stop and call him for engine replacementWe Will not put the cylinder head back with damage blockShop out there will
try to heli-coil alumni bum engine block that is not the way of correct repair procureThe labor charge for removed cylinder headThere is no refund

Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because:(the warrenty for catalytic converter should meet federal environmental protection agency
emission requirements for miles and there are not any time limit indicated for this but my car has only been driven miles ) the time limit that he indicates is not months becouse six months after instalation it went bad I went and talked to him he said he will fix it, I had to go overseas becouse of family probloms and my car was sitting in the garage and my insurance can verify that and I could not take the car in after I came back I took the car in to be fixed but he refuses to honor the warenty requred for the part yesterday I went to master muffler and asked how much it would be to replace the catalytic converter they told me dollers but he charged me dollers wich indicates that he over charged dollers, I want him to explain why he charged me more and he put a part that did not have proper warenty on my car Sincerely,*** ***

Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because:
Dear MrN***,
Thank you for your condescending response educating me on the definition of a warrantyI am fully aware of this definition as I demonstrated it by returning to your shop on numerous occasions in an attempt to complete “warranty” workIt is not until now that you have even responded to a single request to contact me regarding this issue (I asked to speak with you at least times)Had you done so, you could’ve possibly helped out by providing a better solution instead of continuing to have me bring it back to the people who did not know what they were doing
Your warranty policy can’t realistically expect me to continue to return over and over again (at my cost and inconvenience) while your mechanics just take guesses as to what is going on, and continue to demonstrate poor quality workmanshipThe salve cylinder was broken by your shop (you at least covered that), vacuum hoses weren’t reconnected properly, parts were left loose that could’ve caused me to crash (possibly causing serious injury/death and/or damage to the vehicle), and other such deficienciesThis lack of knowledge became even clearer when I turned the vehicle over to the dealer to fix the things your shop did wrong or failed to do at allThe EGR valve gasket was installed incorrectly completely missing an entire bolt holeThis was causing an exhaust leak noise your team diagnosed as possibly a faulty solenoid before deciding a couple attempts later it was due to air in the water system created by them not running the cars heater (standard procedure I would imagine) while bleeding the cooling system, an axle seal they would’ve worked on was leaking, a CV boot they would’ve removed was freshly torn, they did not replace the cam shaft plugs as the dealer says is required when changing the valve cover gaskets, the brake noise I paid to have eliminated still persists, etc
I gave your business plenty of opportunity to complete the work that I paid forThey had my vehicle for over daysI made numerous attempts to retrieve it from them (after being told it was ready) only to find they did not fix the issues they had created or address problems I paid to have resolved (see above brake issue)All the times I attempted to pick it up only to return or not leave with it at all cost me time and money that I won’t get backYour own shop manager admitted that this car could be difficult to work onKnowing that, they could’ve easily refused to perform the work and recommended another shop better equipped to complete the routine maintenance I came in forInstead they used my car, at my expense, to train your employeesBy doing so they/you took on the responsibility to complete it correctly
By not contacting me as requested multiple times to try to find another way (as clearly the individuals working on this weren’t getting it right), you have taken on the responsibility to find a satisfactory solutionSince you failed to even speak to me, you left me no other option except to have it repaired at another shop as I couldn’t be without transportation, afford a rental after paying you $3000, and did not want to risk my own life or cause unknown damage to the car as a result of driving it
I do realize the nature of your specific business can create problems such as theseSome of which are valid and some that are notIn such instances where your quality of work has caused the issue (this would be an example), you should take that opportunity to make it right and at the very least compensate the poor unlucky individual that has to suffer through your shops lack of know how
I paid you 100% of the cost you would’ve charged had there been no issues and received off quality work/rework/new problems I didn’t even have and ultimately had to pay someone else to correctI was extremely patient and tried excessively to follow your policies regarding your “warranty”Again by not trying to resolve this with me earlier you left me no option but to seek out another shopAt this point I believe it is not only the morally right and fairest thing to do but is completely your responsibility to correct this by reimbursing me for the labor charges, the cost of repairs, and any other charges I’ve incurred due to the inability of your team to perform the work I paid them to do
Sincerely,*** ***

I repeat it again the block test show head gasket fail. Exhaust smell in coolant.

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:the catalytic converter is not like any other parts that you put on a car.  the warenty on catalytic converter should meet Federal Environmental protection agency wich is 25000 miles. you can not go and put an aftermarket catalytic converter on a car without required warenty for it . and charge the customer twise as much and not respect proper laws governing that part. my car is not working properly becouse of your neglegence to perform the proper warenty requirement on this part you will be responsible for any damages to my car.       Sincerely,[redacted]

Warranty stated in our invoice: 1year or 12000 miles which ever come first. He came back after 16 months. Unfortunately, the warranty already expired.

Look at warranty 12months or 12 miles which ever comes first

We perform major repair on your car and some oil leak occurred after the repairs. We offer full warranty from our shop, plug free loaner car. It's your choice to bring it back for repair. If you choose not to bring it back there is no refund.

Dear Mr. [redacted],
Foremost, we apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced.  We stand behind all the services that we perform for all our clients albeit big or small repair jobs. Vehicles are an extremely complex piece of machinery that involve thousand of parts and numerous involved steps that are performed when a repair is necessary. Recognizing this fact we just as any manufacturer and repair facility provide our customers with a warranty as protection. We take every effort in sourcing and supplying the best and most reliable parts available and our technicians remain up to date in repair techniques and have access the latest in on-line automotive repair information programs.  However, just as automobile and parts manufacturers we know nothing is perfect, hence the offering of a warranty.
Definition of warranty: a written statement that promises the good condition of a product and states that the maker is responsible for repairing or replacing the product usually for a certain period of time after its purchase
Source: Merriam-Webster's Learner's Dictionary
Through the course of the repair on your vehicle we addressed your concerns and requested services that you had brought to our attention. Test drives by our master technician attempts to bring to light deficiencies after the repair process however since we are new to the vehicle we cannot detect certain aspects of a vehicle and how the customer is comfortable in its running.  These we attempted to address when you also went on test drives with the technician so we could be made aware of these unique aspects as evident in your letter.  As you see we made every effort in satisfying your concerns. Apparently, you are of the opinion that we have fallen short of your expectations. We reiterate that it is towards our goal of customer satisfaction that we provide a warranty. As told to you on different occasions should you have any concern/s just bring the vehicle back so these may be addressed.  Should you choose not exercise the warranty offered, that is a prerogative and responsibility that rests solely upon you. However, it does not imply any responsibility on our behalf to entitle you to any refund in whole or in part.
Sincerely yours,
Hung N[redacted]
