Dear Revdex.com,Thank you for contacting us about this issue.I think there was a miscommunication between the customer and our employeeTheadvertisement on our wii'ffiow-(see picture) correctly lists our prices and even-Indicatesthe exceptionIt states that "size" men dress shirts are laundered for $withany dry cleaning orderIt also states that hand pressed shirts are the exceptionThis isbecause shirts that are larger or smaller than the average size cannot be pressed byour machine and therefore must be hand-pressed which increases the cost to $2.00.Shirts also cost $depending on the design of the shirt or if the material of the shirtdoes not allow for the usage of high heat, all of which would mean we would have tohand press and not machine press the shirtThe problem is that unless the customerbrings in the shirt so we can see the size of the shirt, we do not know if the shirt can bemachine pressed or notI believe what might have happened is that when the -customercame to ask about our prices initially, our employee stated that regular shirts were $1.25,but when the customer brought in the actual shirt, we found that it would have to behand-pressed, in which case the price would be $Blouses also are generally drycleaned which costs starting from $(the 40% coupon price), but to launder blousesit costs $3.00, which we explained to the customer. We are a local business that has been in Anaheim Hills since 2006, and I believe wewould not have been able to stay in business until now if we did not do our best toprovide honest service to our customersIt was certainly not our intention to deceive thecustomer, and we apologize if they felt as if we were and if we did not clearly explain thereasoning behind the higher priceWe will try to be more careful in the future.Sincerely,Canyon Cleaners

Review: I went to Canyon cleaners and asked how much it would cost to get shirts and blouses laundered and I was told $1.25 and $2.00 respectively. I went back with the clothes and they told me that the shirts would cost $2.00 each and the blouses $3.00. I asked about the previous price and they said that it wasn't the correct price and when I told them that they were the ones who told me that price when I came in previously, they said that my shirts couldn't be laundered and that's why it was more expensive even though I've been getting those same shirts laundered for years at a different location. The only reason I came here was because they quoted me a lower price and when I actually brought in the clothes, they tried to charge me $15 for something that should have cost $11 according to the prices they gave me. If needed I have photos showing the price advertised as $1.25 for men's shirts in the window.Desired Settlement: Don't advertise one price on the window and tell people that price, and then change it to something more expensive when they come in to get that price. Stop lying about how certain clothes cannot be laundered and must be dry cleaned just to get more money out of people.
