Initial Business Response /* (1000, 8, 2015/11/25) */
*** and *** ***,
Sorry for the confusionNew office staff quoted euthanasia properlyShe did not take into consideration whether the pet had been seen here previouslyA pet not seen previously needs to have a medical record
establishedThat medical record has to be maintained for three years and constitutes and office call of $Also as I recall correctly, I came to the exam room to euthanize your pet and you asked me to evaluate Whiskers as to whether you were correct in euthanizing WhiskersI stopped left the room got a stethoscope to evaluate whiskers That also constitutes an office call exam of $
There is no way we can ever eliminate all confusion, these things occurI am always open to discussion and client complaintsNo need for Revdex.com
Please find enclosed, a refund check for $as I never want bad feelings
I look forward to caring for your pet needs in the futureRespectfully, *** S *** DVNI

CANYON VETERINARY HOSPITAL [redacted] S. [redacted], D.V.M. 634 S. China Lake Blvd [redacted], CA [redacted] Telephone ###-###-#### Tuesday, June 6, 2017 Revdex.com [redacted] W. [redacted] Lane Fresno, CA [redacted] Dear [redacted], We have received your letter in regards to Ms. [redacted]...

[redacted]) on June 6, 2017 On 5/30/2017 Ms. [redacted] presented her rabbit Flower for a spay. She signed an estimate for $203.44 to spay her rabbit. She had also signed a surgical permit for a spay and anesthesia. She was given her copy of the estimate as we kept the signed authorization. Once anesthetized we discovered that her rabbit was a male and not a female. She thought she should get a discount because it was a castration not a spay. Rabbit castration or spay is the same price. I had remarked to my staff that we should raise the price for Spay/Neuter on exotics $100.00 and unfortunately staff applied the $100.00 to her bill and she was upset - The error was corrected immediately during the check out process, She paid $203.44 exactly the estimate amount. Ms. [redacted] refused to take home medication for her pet and they were not sent home. Ms. [redacted] is due a $30.00 refund for medication that she did not take home. She stalled at the front desk for about 12-15 min complaining and threatening staff The only medication the rabbit had was a pain injection during surgery. Then she called for me with threats and I do not return phone calls to people who abuse staff or threatens staff, at that threatens me. All certificates are up to date and hanging up in the front office. She paid what her signed estimate was. Ms. [redacted] was belligerent, threatening and I will not stand for that at my veterinary hospital. We feel no obligation or liability to her! Please find copies of record with surgical permit, estimate and her final bill. Sincerely, Dr. [redacted]' S. [redacted]
