[redacted]Document Attached[redacted]
Capcom has been in touch with the customer since November 19, 2015 in an attempt to resolve the complaint. See attached doc. On or about December 9, 2015 Capcom was informed Valve had issued a refund to the customer...

for the game at issue. Capcom considers this matter has been resolved to the customer's satisfaction.

Dear Revdex.com, Mr. [redacted] has stated that his issue is with a PlayStation 3 retail disc version of Street Fighter x Tekken. Capcom U.S.A. Inc.'s warranty states that our software discs, when purchased brand new, shall be free from defects for a period of 90-days. In the event of a defect within such 90-day period, the customer’s sole remedy shall be a replacement game disc free of charge. A copy of the relevant portion of the Street Fighter x Tekken warranty page is attached to this response. Mr. [redacted] claims that his copy of Street Fighter x Tekken was purchased on March 14, 2013, meaning that any warranty claim would have had to accrue on or prior to June 12, 2013. Mr. [redacted] claims, however, that his particular issue arose on April 16, 2014, nearly 10 months after expiration of the warranty. As such, Mr. [redacted] is not entitled to the benefit of the warranty. Furthermore, Mr. [redacted] has stated that the game was purchased for him by a friend. Our warranty, however, only covers the original purchaser. Even if we were to presume that the disc was in fact defective (and not simply damaged by Mr. [redacted]) and this defect occurred within the initial 90 day warranty period, Mr. [redacted] still would not be able to benefit from the warranty because he was not the original purchaser. Nevertheless, in accordance with the attached warranty information, Mr. [redacted]’s has the option of contacting Capcom U.S.A. Inc.’s Customer Service Department to attempt to resolve the issue with his disk. If our customer service technician is unable to resolve the issue, Mr. [redacted] sole remedy is to mail the broken/defective disk to Capcom U.S.A., Inc., freight prepaid and at his own risk, along with a check or money order for USD $20.00. Capcom U.S.A., Inc. will then replace the game disc, subject to the conditions above. Capcom U.S.A., Inc.’s Customer Service Department may be reached at: Capcom U.S.A., Inc. Customer Service Department [redacted] We hope that this resolves the issue and that this matter can be closed. Best regards, Capcom U.S.A., Inc. Legal Department

Dear Revdex.com,We are in the process of drafting a response to Mr. [redacted] customer complaint, but, in order to complete the response, we require further information from the customer. The additional information required is as follows:1. On what platform did Mr. [redacted] purchase the...

video game "Street Fighter x Tekken" (i.e., Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, etc.)?2. What does the customer mean by the statement that his Street Fighter x Tekken "broke"? Does this statement mean that the physical DVD on which the game was released has broken?Upon receipt of the requested information, we will be able to complete and provide a full response to the customer.Best regards,Capcom U.S.A., Inc. Legal Department
