We purchased a dining room set and had problems with one chair, that we had not even used yet, falling apart. Literally fell apart at the joints that make the frame stay together. This chair was used for guests we had for dinner. When our guest stood up to leave the table, this chair literally fell apart. Fortunately, he was already standing. This guest is less than an average sized man. Weight was not an issue.
When we took the chair in for replacement. It was obviously not repairable. We were told they no longer carry that brand, but would ask the manufacturer to replace it. We were told there were no guarantees, even though we were still covered by the warranty. They took a picture of the chair, refusing to send the chair back or keep it at their place of business. We were told basically. " don't call us, we'll call you" and maybe it will be replaced.
This took place months ago. Have not heard anything. Never even heard so much as an apology. This was not a cheap set either. We were led to believe it was a "good " brand. Worst customer service ever. Will not buy from here again.
Bought sofa group, $2600.00. used 6months, and is peeling. they dont care and no help. Big prices , small service and quality. Buyer beware!!!
