Hello, I checked into the Cape Cod Family resort on June 2nd, 2018. When I got to my room there was a horrible odor of cat urine and mold. Upon turning the air conditioner on it got worse. I took the filter out and there was black mold on the filter. The shower had no shower head, the sheets were filthy and there were holes in the floor (my foot actually went down into a hold through the carpet). The lock on the door wasn't secure. I went to complain and they said "there was nothing they could do for me" I frantically found another hotel as my children didn't want to stay here and I couldn't keep them there for their health and safety. I had asked for a refund and they said since I checked in there wasn't anything they could do that their return policy is strict. They were very rude and unwilling to help. I tried to call the manager and was hung up on repeatedly. I want my money back. Please help me.
The guest, ***, checked into our hotel and got passes the park and keys to her room. Several hours later she called booking.com with whom she made her reservation and told them she didn't like it here and she wanted her money back. We have a 48 hour cancellation policy and therefore she was not eligible for a refund. She has made many false allegations about the condition of the room which we find appalling. Our guests compliment us on the cleanliness of this place and what she said just wasn't true. She stated that she tried to call me, the manager, and I hung up on her repeatedly.
