I purchased a retractable screen door last year from this company at a cost of over $700.00. Recently the door would not close. I requested that the Company come and look at it. They did but I was not there when they came. They fixed the door and sent me a bill for $75.00. The warranty states the door is warrantied for life but the screen isn't. When I inquired as to why I was being charged the owner would not return my calls. The receptionist advised me that they fixed the screen? There was nothing wrong with the screen. The invoice states the gear mechanism was repaired. Therefore it must be covered under the warranty. I've made several calls to the company and I am told each time that the owner will call me back. No call backs.
Mr. was sent a letter, written by myself addressing his complaint and he has since paid the bill.
*** Screens do in fact carry a "Limited" Lifetime warranty on all parts ONLY! NOT LABOR...for which he was billed only. The screen mesh is not covered under any warranty.

I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # ***. .
I paid it in fear that they were going to notify a collection agency. Notice it says " fixed gear mechanism." That has nothing to do with the "mesh" as she stated in her comments. It was mechanical and that is covered in the warranty. I would like them to reimburse the money to me.
