On August we sold *** and *** *** a Honda RidgelineA Chrysler Pacifica was offer as a tradeWe did offer $for the vehicle on tradeThey accepted the trade offerThe $offer was made due tho the condition of the carAt the time of the sale *** did

I am rejecting this response because:i don't believe them. I would like proof that it was sold for salvage. I have proof it was offered on their website. I believe they sold it at great profit. it was NOT [redacted], the salesman that "mentioned" it would be salvaged. The finance guy and the supervisor told us outright it could only be sold at salvage. With what we paid for the new vehicle, we should have been offered at least $1000.00, not $200I want the $500 down payment back.

Attached is the Receipt from the state showing the title issue date of 01/24/2018Attached is the Original Notice of sale to the State of Missouri. This shows that the correct lien was reported by Cape Girardeau Honda at time of sale.Attached is the original title application signed by [redacted]...

[redacted]. It clearly shows a clerical error in the (Lien/Mail To) portion on the application. [redacted] was listed. It was one lined out, and the correct lien holder was hand written. [redacted] was listed. When Mrs. [redacted] registered and titled the vehicle, the license bureau accepted this corrected application. This has been their practice in the past, and not a reason for title rejection. We have learned now that hand corrected title applications will cause title rejections. Also attached is the original title signed by Mrs [redacted]. It clearly shows no lien to the previous owner [redacted], as Mrs [redacted] has stated the reason for the reject was from "herself and the previous owner had both liens on the vehicle"). No lie or deception was given or represented by myself, [redacted], as is reported by Mrs. [redacted]. As I do take responsibility for the errors and the rejected title, I it clear the Cape Girardeau Honda made no attempt to deceive or cause harm to Mrs [redacted] by the clerical error. Unfortunately rejected title notifications do not come to our attention from the state of MO. The notifications are sent to the new title holder. When Mrs [redacted] informed me of the issue, she spoke with me. She also expressed concerns about issues on the van. We completed more than minor services for Mrs. [redacted], including, replacing the DVD receiver, seat heater, and a timing belt service which includes a new water pump. We also had several areas painted on the van at a local body shop. All of this was done for Mrs. [redacted] at no cost to her. I was happy to do this for the trouble we caused them.Attempts were made to acquire the lien release from [redacted] at that time. A lien release was sent to the state of MO. No follow up was done on our part to insure that the release was received and the problem corrected. This is another error on our part. When Mrs [redacted] informed us this month the title was still in rejection we worked to get another sent. I have been in communication with Mrs. [redacted] about this. She has been emailed a copy of the receipt showing the title has been issued. Mrs. [redacted] has issued complaints to American Honda, and issued a complaint on our social media site accusing me of lying to her. I would never lie to her and have never lied to a customer in over 17 years at Cape Girardeau Honda. I acknowledge that we made multiple mistakes in the transaction with Mrs. [redacted].  I made a big attempt to make things right when Mrs [redacted] brought this to my attention the first time. We did not get it handled properly and I have apologized many times. I believe the rejected title issue is resolved.
