Cape Vista Dental goes above and beyond the call (by a long shot!!) compared to MANY othersI can attest to this with a very stong opinion, as I came to them years ago with desperation and as a last try before going full denturesI have chronic teeth/gum problems due to a hereditary disorder and have had horrendous dental health since I was a child, in spite of regular dental care and home care, my teeth still deteriorateI have always had gum infections/disease, periodontal disease, cavities, abscess teeth, dry socket, etcand I have tried approximately other dentists over the years, all of whom had nothing on this practice and should be ashamed of themselvesI was having root canals and extractions to the point where I literally had only broken or decaying molars left and chewing was now a major event
On my very first visit with Cape Vista, I knew something was differentI could see the light at the end of this long tunnel of pain and health issues
The admin and dental hygiene staff are all friendly, knowledgeable and courteous, I have never felt I was being rushed or annoying them with anything I needThey are completely understanding when your schedule interferes and you need to change an appointment or postpone a procedureThe regular preventative cleanings, fluoride, etcare always thorough, quick and pleasant; even the deep cleaning and bleaching processes (which could be very harsh) are as close to pleasant as it could beI have not had a single issue with my insurance covering a claim and they handle everything from appointment scheduling to approval and paymentI have not once in years had to even speak to my dental insurance company (***, if you are wondering)
DrY*** is nothing short of fantastic, perhaps even the best dentist ever! From his skill and expertise to his chair-side manner; he is great with adults and kids, my kids even love going to the dentist! They will assess your dental health situation and give you a breakdown of visits (broken down into as many visits as possible so that you can actually budget and afford it) to eradicate the problems in the most efficient and effective way possible
I have never had a question unanswered or any concerns with my treatment, because every step of every process is explained thoroughly and in layman's termsHe explains everything to a science and doesn't try to break your wallet to pad his own, he has never tried to upsell me on expensive cosmetic work because I explained up front that I prefer to work on functionality first and he respects that, but let me tell you...this office has all new state of the art equipment for anything you could (and I already do) dream of! Truly, anything short of credit/financing (which is what CareCredit is for) and he will work with you by suggesting cheaper options or breaking down the visits in order of dental health priorityIn my experience, their costs are very reasonable and lower than many "high end" dentists, and you will get better care here, I promise!
I have recently moved to Saint Cloud, FL and I make the hour drive everytime I need a dentist because they just plain ROCK!!! Also, I have already recommended Cape Vista Dental and DrY*** to all of my friends and family and I will continue to do so
