I have contacted Capelli Incof New York, NY for almost one year to try and resolve an issue with one of its garments permanently dying my new leather car seat and my new dressThe damages total over $1,Their garment tag did not indicate pre-washing before useThe first service rep asked me to send information via email (including pictures), which I did I never heard back from himWeeks later, I got a mediator involved and he found a new contact with the companyThe second rep (female) said that she never received any information and asked me to send a new email including pictures, with the promise to review my caseFirst, the female rep said that she didn't receive my repeated emailsShe finally admitted that my emails were sent to the company's spam, but said their IT staff was not able to recover themI had to end up sending an email to the reps home email addressSince then, for several months, the company has ignored my attempts and my mediator's snail mail attempt

Review: I purchased a sweater/coat on October **, 2013 and paid $58.00 in cash. Unfortunately, the store's refund policy was not conspicuously displayed. My salesperson did not inform me of the refund policy. Upon examining the sweater at home, I noticed the quality is sub-standard--something I could not determine in the dimly lit retail location.

I brought the sweater back to the store on October ** and was told that I needed to speak to the manager, [redacted], who would not be in until the next day. I spoke to her on the [redacted] and she told me the sweater can be exchanged for a store or merchandise credit only. Everyone I have spoken to has been extremely helpful and courteous, but no one is able to address my concerns. I have also emailed Customer Service at their email address ([redacted]) three times and, each time, the email has been determined to be undeliverable. The customer service rep I spoke with on the [redacted], [redacted], promised to email his supervisor, [redacted], and get back to me by the [redacted]. I have called him and left several messages and also spoken with several of his colleagues, [redacted] and [redacted]. But [redacted] is among the missing--I leave messages and he does not return them. I do not believe that this is the way Customer Service (for any business) is supposed to handle their customers.

It is obvious to me that Customer Service at [redacted] is a misnomer. I am appealing to you for help in getting a refund. Thank you.Desired Settlement: Since the refund policy was not explained to me and I have a legitimate reason for returning the sweater, I respectfully request that my refund be in the same form as I used to purchase the item.
