cosmetologists, barbers, nail technicians and/or estheticians and the services they provide to customers in the clinic are an integral part of their training. The cost of having a service done at the school by a student in training is significantly less than what would be charged by a licensed professional working in a salon. Every effort to accommodate the customer and address her concerns was made. The color service was supervised by an instructor who said the client left happy and satisfied. The customer called the following day and spoke with a second instructor about her hair being over-processed by the color service. The instructor recommended that the complimentary conditioning treatment be done to correct the problem she was experiencing with her hair. In her telephone conversation with the instructor, the customer stated she would like the school to purchase her a new shirt because the one she had worn the day of the color service had been damaged. School policy mandates that any damage caused to clothing worn by students or clients is their responsibility. The customer came back into the school later that week, but chose not to have the complimentary conditioning treatment.
