had some concerns about the car after she had it for daysWe agreed to let her exchange it for a
new
BeetleMs*** wanted a basic model in BlackWe did not have the car in inventory and
we made arrangements to purchase it from a neighboring Volkswagen dealer (located in El Cajon)On
Saturday, August 3O'" we picked up the picked up the new Beetle from El Cajon and had our driver
bring it to our dealership for delivery to Ms***On Sunday, August 31st we detailed and
prepared the car that we delivered to N4s*** that day
Ms***'s daughter experienced some problems with the remote locking system of the carOn
October 1st Ms*** brought the car back to our dealership and requested to have the after-market
alarm system removed from the vehicleThe dealer we had traded for the vehicle had installed an aftermarket
alarm system and LoJackWe provided Ms *** a rental vehicle at no charge and we
removed the alarm system and deactivated the Lo-Jack systemWe tested the remote locking system
and confirmed it was working according to factory specificationsWe, as well as another Vw dealer she
brought the car to, have been unable to duplicate the problem Ms*** has told us about in the
vehicle, she has also contacted Volkswagen of America whom we have been in contact with as well
The car does come with a factory warranty and any issues that can be identified and are part of the
factory warranty will be taken care if covered by the warranty,
At this time we have not been able to resolve the issue with Ms***I left her a message at the
number she provided (661.343.1582) to see what possible solutions we can work outCurrently the
only course of action that will satisfv Ms*** appears to be 100% refund of the purchase price of
the vehicle
