In response to this complaint, the HVAC installation was done by another company that has gone out of business and we took over the home for your builder, we are having to deal with these issues, as for the customer service I would like to apologize for this This is not how we do business and it will be addressed and the resolved We are scheduled be at your home on 8-17-to fix this issue

The AC simply does not cool the areaIt needs to be replaced since they have tried to fix numerous times

In response to the complaint regarding an improper or inferior repair, We have responded to Mr*** each and every time he has complained about his issues with his HVAC system. He had a noise issue with the registers that were installed in his home, this comes from the plastic
register heating up from the hot air that is blowing thru them and when they are new and installed tightly to the ceiling they tend to make a popping noise when the heat comes on and normally the solution to this issue is to loose the grill and the popping noise will go away. Unfortunately this did not happen with two of his grills and they had to be replaced. In our defense we do not manufacture the grills we only install them. The gas pressure on his furnace had to be adjusted which is not an uncommon thing to happen as we have no way of knowing the kind of pressure he will be getting from the gas meter which is installed by the city or county and the plumbers are the ones who install the gas line to the furnace. His other issues that he had with the noise of the return air were fixed. Our owner Larry R*** did in fact visit Mr*** to make sure that his issues were repaired and that his concerns regarding his HVAC system would be eliminated. As of today 2-24-15, all issues with Mr*** have been resolved to the best of my knowledge. We stand behind our work and honor our warranties. We do not manufacture any of the parts or equipment we install, but we do warranty them for the manufactures and sometimes things do happen and unfortunately we the HVAC Contractor get the full blunt of the dissatisfaction of the customer

I am very sorry that Mrs *** ***, was dissatisfied with our service. I checked our records and I do not show anything on a missed service call. I show we have made service calls for this address, the first call starting on 6-9-15, which the complaint of a/c not
cooling, our service technician found the system low on Freon and added Freon to correct the charge. He did not observe any leak on the system at this time, so he did put die in the system so if there was a leak it would appear. Our next visit to Mrs *** was on 6-19-15, which the complaint again was a/c not cooling, our service technician did find a leak on the evaporator coil on this visit and the evaporator coil was replace. Then on 7-20-we were called again with the same complaint that the a/c was not cooling, at this visit the system was checked and all seemed to be in order, so the technician started looking at the ductwork at which time he discovered that the problem could be resolved by adding another supply run, the technician needed to come back to the office and discuss this issue with our engineering department. The call was scheduled with Mrs*** for 7-28-15, which our crew did show up to add the supply run. After the crew looked at the job they could not see where they were going to have room to install this extra supply run, so they did tell Mrs *** that there was no access to add the supply run. So we sent the New Construction Supervisor to the home with a crew and the supply run was added and to the best of my knowledge her issue has been resolved. As for the issue with the scheduler and them being rude, we do not accept this kind of attitude from our employees and their attitude will be adjusted or they will be replaced. We do realize that you are the customer and what you think about us is very important. We want to keep our customer happy and satisfied as this is how we remain in business and have been in business for the last years. Please accept my apology for the attitude of my employee

It is true Sharon called me this morning after receiving our Revdex.com complaint, we have tried contacting them more than times since the compressor was installed to have them come and check it out AS WELL as install the copper cover that was never installed on the outside unitWe have been stood up times nowThe issue may be that they had to cut a huge hole in the ceiling to access the unit and cool air is rapidly escaping through the atticWhen this unit was installed Capital Air and our home builder agreed to install an access door for future maintenance and that was never doneWhen Capital Air came out to service the unit they informed us the builder never followed through with the access door and they had no way to get to it to fix itUpon return the next week the hole was cut in our ceilingWe are still waiting for Capital Air and the home builder to get together and install a proper accessWe are caught in the middle and no one wants to take responsibilityWe will not be able to contain the air even if the compressor is fixed without the ceiling being closed up and proper access installed

In response to the complaint against Capital Air & Heat, I would like to say that Mr*** is correct in most part, but the fact that Mr***, owner of Capital Air & Heat did not make the appointment was not due to it being too early and too far away. Mr*** became ill
the night prior to the service call and was unable to make itHowever we did have our representative there to address the issue. Mr*** does respect his customers and would like very much for all his customers to be satisfied with their air conditioning and heating that he installs for them. We are willing to work with the *** to get this issued resolved without them having to miss anymore work. We have already put a call into Mr*** and we are awaiting a return call to schedule at their convenience to resolve this issue
