I am rejecting this response because: I did notify capital auctions days after I drove off the lot [redacted] the finance manager gave me excuses for days before finally I had to take the vehicle into a repair shop and pay for it myselfThe exact miles I put on the vehicle were not several hundredYes we did resolve with a dollar buyout so we both do not end up in court
I am rejecting this response because: They had me under the assumption that I was already pre approved for a vehicleA young gentleman told me as long as I bid on something under $7,and under 75,miles I would be go to goHad they told me I was not approved I would have never bid on a vehicle Also I got to the auction at 8am and signed all necessary paperwork for financing way before the auction startedThe finance person never put the paper work through for the Dodge ChargerThat was a red flag right thereThen when I did bid on the Pontiac Grand Prix while it was going through for bidding they did not specify that a car with True Miles Unknown (TMU) could not be financedEvery time a vehicle that was salvage title passed through they made sure to mention it over the speaker and they said it a few timesWith the Pontiac Grand Prix they never said anything I feel I should not be responsible for the restocking fee when they did not specify certain details about the vehicleI was at the auction from 8am to 5pm trying to get a vehicleThis trip was a waste of time and money When they said they would call me they never didI had to call them every day for a week constantly to find out what was going onThey offered to help me get into another vehicle but why would I want to do business with someone who can’t inform their customers of the processes and what is going onIf I was never under the assumption that I was already pre approved I would have never bid any vehicleThey made me think I was going home with a car that day but that was not the case

Two weeks had passed since the car was purchased and it had been driven several hundred miles. We received a phone call from our customer asking that we pay for the repair. I clearly explained my position which included these facts: 1) I have no way of knowing if there was truly a problem. 2) The amount paid for the alleged repair was three times what our mechanic said he could do it for. 3) The car had been driven several hundred miles since purchased.
