Capital Auto Sales

I bought a car from this company in the spring of 2016. They had a promotion on that offered 4 new winter tires. I agreed to a trade plus cash deal. The next day whne I went to pick up the car I was told because it was not a straight up sale I did not qualify for the promotional offer. I complained to the owner [redacted] who agree to honor the ad. I had to go back twice to get the tires but finally finished the deal. I just had the winter tires installed and found out two were very worn, and not even the same tires.. They gave me two new and two very used tires!! I called the dealer who of course refused to do anything for me, he was the same guy who tried to wiggle out of the deal in the first place. It's places like this that give this industry a bad name, [redacted]

Review: I purchased a vehicle from Capital Auto Sales on 3/29/2014 in cash for $1800 plus taxes. It has been 2 months and I have yet to receive the title to my vehicle that was paid IN FULL. Ive contacted the dealer yet I still have not received my title.Desired Settlement: I want the title to the vehicle purchased.

Review: I found a vehicle that I wanted at the dealership & was informed by the salesman that I could make payments on the down payment & they would hold the car for me while I was making those payments. I put $100 down on the car & returned when I recieved my next paycheck 2 weeks later to put an additional $200 toward the car. I was informed, then, that the dealership didn't take payments on down payments & that I would have to either wait until I came up with the rest of the money, while the car sat available for purchase on the lot, or I could have a refund of the original $100 I put toward the car to hold it. I requested the refund & was told to return the following Monday to pick up a check since the person in charge of checks wasn't available that day. I emailed the dealership the following Monday requesting they mail the check since I work Mon-Fri the same hours they're open. Never got a return email or phone call. Took the morning off work today (11/4/2013) to go directly to the dealership to pick up the check & was told that there was no reciept for my down payment on file when the last time I was physically present at the dealership they had the reciept in a filing cabinet in the office. I showed them a photo I had taken of my reciept from their dealership since I had neglected to bring the physical copy with me & was told that they couldn't do anything without the actual reciept that they no longer had on file & the, I'm assuming, owner of the dealership told me flat out that he would not issue a refund regardless of if his salesman gave me misleading information or not & also regardless if I was told I could be refunded or not.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of the $100 that I left with the dealership.
