Capital City employees (Sales Men/Manager) are the absolute worstHighly unprofessional, fast talking SwindlersThey're a bunch of fast talkers, out to rip you offBEWARE!!
I visited the store by way of NC, some time in late Late October/Early NovemberI was greeted by multiple sales menI asked for a particular sales person (By the name of M),and they acted as if the person was unavailable(Salesman J), is now assisting usCoolMy friends and I spot salesman M, and explain to him as to why we didn't come and see himHe was pissed or atleast acted as suchHe excused himself and reappeared in minutes as our new Sales person
I explained to salesman M what I wanted and what I wanted to payHe showed me around a bit, and got a little to comfortable with me and started cracking jokes about my height; and what my name would have been if I was in his motorcycle clubFor a minute or so, salesman M referred to me as Pee Wee (the name I would have been called if I were apart of his mc)It was partially funny initially, but after the the 2nd and 3rd time, I'd had enough and Told him to act professionalFinally, I saw a bike I liked a lot, but needed time to pull the trigger on it
weeks later (Hurricane Matthew time frame), after admiring the bike on their website, I decided to pull the triggerI contacted Capital CitySalesman J is assisting me; CoolManager B (aka Tough Guy) is assisting him with particularsSalesman J said he needed a portion of the down paymentDown Payment was sentI asked salesman J "Will I be charged for delivery", he said "No", we'll take care of youI asked him about finance charges and he said it's or 21% Cool; I don't have the best creditSalesman J asked for the rest of my down paymentDown Payment was sent as requested
Bike arrives later that dayThe delivery guy asked me to sign some documentsI glanced over the documents and quickly signed the carbon copy paper work so that the driver could head back to SC (hours away)I requested the copies and he stated that he could not give me copies and explained that they'd be mailed to me I called Capital City to ask about some of the discrepancies that I noticed, and Jason stated that they would be taken care of itI took pictures of the documents before the delivery guy leftUpon further review I noticed more SWINDLER stuffThe website stated for the MotorcycleThe paper work stated for the BikeI chalked the extra charges to, tax, tags and title, but then I saw for Tax became very alarmedI saw a fee for some Document feeUpon further inspection of the paper work via pictures, I saw that the bike had been inspectedRight turn signal was not workingway flashers are obsoleteThe Horn was not workingSaddle Bags would not open at all
The paper work stated that the bike passed inspectionMaybe SC laws are different and don't have safety standards in regards to inspectionSwindler Manager and Swindler J said they'd fix itOf course The Swindler & Tough guy never did
Grand Finale'
Swindler J, surely by order of Swindler/manager B, throws in a year warranty ($valueWhy not just give me my moneyThey send some lock & Keys, and stated they'd drive all the way down here and pick my bike up to fix my right turn signalI did receive the lock & Keys and Key FobI felt some what relieved, but still reluctant in my trust with these fishy guys
About a week later, a female rep, called me from capital city stating she needed MORE info from meI requested (via text), an email stating what they do for me in regard to my warranty as a show of faith
Swindler/Manager B calls me, On some tough guy ISH, telling me about myself and ALLL The wonderful things his people have done for meThreatening to take my bike away if I didn't send them more paper workI tried to explain to the "Little Swindler" that, all I wanted was some type of confirmation of the warranty they Said they'd sendHe was NOT trying to hear meThreatened police involvement and taking my down payment from me for riding "their" bikeWait, I thought it was my bikeCan't argue with ISI told him that he wasn't getting anything and if he wanted it to come and get himselfFast forward, my wife interacted with the Swindler/Manager and sent the Capital "Shifty" requested paper work
Lesson ADon't be in rush to do business with these Guys
Lesson BLater for being considerate to a salesman/delivery guyThey NEED YOU more than you need them

Final nail in the coffin was; something days later, I had to pay an additional dollars for my tags and title at the DMV because it was not includedMaybe this is standard
These guys are the worse of the worseUnless you are truly TRULY desperate for a Motorcycle, Do not do business with the ScammersTake your business else whereThey're the Absolute worseIt's disgusting
They fell all over themselves to sell me a bike, then when I got home I found they keys would not work on the saddlebags.. I called and was told no problem, we'll order you new locks just give us your key number, we'll call when they come in, and schedule "at your convenience" to have them installed for free, Total BS..I called about every two weeks and was given a different story every time I called. I even drove back up (I live about 90 miles away) to see what the deal was. They knew who I was of course, and I was told they were on the way, shipping problems held them up..BS again. After three or four months I realized I was wasting my breath and bought them myself and installed them. I later posted a bad review on another site and was contacted by a former employee who stated that was standard operating procedure for them, which was why they quit. They were tired of having to lie to customers at the direction of management.
