I am rejecting this response because: Damage was done to my car after going through this car wash and I have pictures immediately after going through I have had a membership at this car wash and have been going for years with no problems until now I do not agree with their comments and feel they need to apologize and cover the damage that was done I know of other patrons that have had similar damage done by this wash and they act like this could not have possibly been done by their equipment Obviously, it did and I incurred damage to my vehicle

Please note that we do not agree with Mr. [redacted]’s statement
on what happened at our wash. According to our attendant on Duty, there was no mention
about side panel damage, and what the attendant saw the day of the claimants
incident is a side mirror...

with scuff marks.  The type of wash we operate
is called a ( Tunnel Wash ) where a conveyor belt pulls vehicles through the
wash tunnel at a very slow and control speed, there is a guided track that the
front and rear wheels of the vehicles are pulled on , drivers are instructed
through all kinds of signs NOT to drive through tunnel, or push gas, brake or
lay their hands on the steering wheel, because any of these may interfere with
the way the car is moving through the tunnel.  As is the case in any
equipment, sometimes they do beak down or malfunction , but if or when that
happens the conveyor belt that is pulling the car through will STOP , it would
never shoot a car through the tunnel like a bullet…. Also as the cars are
pulled through the wash, they pass under different car wash equipment that are
all covered with CLOTH material like that is very soft, and would not cause any
scratches to anyone’s vehicle… after all this is what we do for a living, if
the equipment do malfunction , it normally would stop, or hit the vehicle with
more force than needed to where it would DENT or BREAK a mirror, but not put
SCUFF marks, as if the mirror have been scrapped by a solid object, like a wall
or a side of a garage door….
Hope this explains my reasoning for not accepting Mr.
[redacted]’s claim, I was not at the wash the minute he went through the wash, but
I also know that if there was a serious malfunction in the wash, it would not
only put scuff marks……. Thank you

please note that manager , and Fawzi (  owwner ) did talk to customer and looked over her vehicle. the scratches discussed at the time, where only on the last couple inches of the top of the SUV. Car washes are equipments and any equipment stands a chance of a malfunction, or something gets...

traped or caught on the soft cloth of the top brush, which may end up scraching the pait on customers vehicles, however if that was the case then the whole front, and top of the SUV would have been scrached in a straight or zig-zag pattern as the top brush travels over the whole vehicle with the same force and speed. Brushes would not just decide on their own to only scratch some parts and not others, or a very small portion of a top of SUV.we are in a service business and we try to always meet and exceed our customers expectations, and resolve their issues or complaints all within reason. we cannot just accept any claim especially when it does not make logical sense. thank you
