I must say I was completely satisfied with my experience with Capital Connect from start to finish! Everyone with whom I had contact was very pleasant and told me what I could expect before, during and after the process of installing our new security systemTheir sales representative was knowledgeable, thorough and the their technician was very patient when explaning all of the different aspects of our security system
I would highly recommend Capital Connect to anyone who is interested in keeping their property secure and in working with a company who is focused on customer service in such a competitive industry

This company cancelled my contract with Monotronics because I cancelled my alarm system with Alder; Alder was my previous alarm system, until I had a Monotronics alarm system installedAlder did not complete the cancellation form; therefore, by Texas law, I could cancel my alarm system with themAlder has sent me threaten letters to payI never paid, and somehow they are connected with Capital Connect and MonotronicsThey cancelled my alarm with Monotronics; I paid every monthly bill to MonotronicsIt s a confusing relationship between the three companiesBeware! P.SAlder is under indictment in Utah

I started using Capital Connect this April and love itEverything they said they would do has proven to be true thus farI see they have an F rating and am very surprisedThe score does not reflect the experience I have had

We contacted Capital Connect after having cancelled a contract with another well-known security firm which installed unnecessary equipment and charged us several thousand dollars beyond what they originally promisedGiven that experience, we were quite cautious about all security firms
However our realtor recommended Capital Connect, so we agreed to meet with their representative He was extremely patient with us, gave us all the details on what would be involved, our options and the costs for each, and responded to every question and concern
The two installers who came to our home were polite, professional and efficient, even as they found unanticipated problems with the installation Still they stayed and continued working until everything functioned properly
We've had the system for a month now, and are very happy with itWe find it easy to use, and appreciate the ability to arm and disarm it either from home or from our cell phones
Being first-time users of a security system, we have had a few situations when we inadvertently triggered the alarms, or forgot that we had armed the system These resulted in immediate calls from Capital Connect staff person who insisted we immediately give our pre-arranged code word to prove that we were the homeownersThat provided us a level of assurance that the system was in fact being monitored
Capital Connect did not try to oversell us, and we ended up spending one-fourth of the price of the previous system We highly recommend their services

We love our system. We are so glad we went with Capital Connect.They did such a great job installing our system. [redacted] was very professional, trained us on the system and was a pleasure to work with. Our contact Walk has been such a patient pleasure to work with. This is the system we will have forever. We are renting right now and to know they worked with us on rental meant so much to us. We are exited to have this system next year when we buy a house! Thanks Capital Connect you all are awesome thanks for keeping us safe.

There are much better, less expensive, and more reputable businesses that deserve your business.

Almost one year ago, I had this system installed, to include the alarm, the A/C/heat monitor and electronic lock. Upon installation of the lock, the technician screwed the lock in so tightly that it cracked my door frame. After putting in a support ticket, it took 3 months for him to come back to "repair" it, using wood glue! It appears just as tacky as it sounds. I also had them remove and replace my original A/C panel due to the fact that I noticed that my A/C was no longer cooling my home. At that point, I just had the electronic lock and the alarm monitoring. Within the past 3 months I've changed the batteries on the lock 3 times; the batteries lasted 1 month before I started receiving emails indicating a "critical low battery". After changing them again (brand new, non-rechargeable batteries) for the second time, the following day I received emails indicating a "critical low battery". Again, I changed the batteries the following day I again received the emails indicating a "critical low battery". Not only that, but my door will no longer lock electronically (from the lock button on the door). I am also unable to lock or unlock the door from the app. I called Capital Connect and left a message today and yesterday with no response what so ever! I called Monitronics, the monitoring company and they were/are unable to get in contact with Capital Connect. The customer service agent at Monitronics told me plainly that it's a well known issue that the battery will drain very quickly (apparently it drains within a day or so of replacing them) and that I am unable to unlock/lock the door from the app because the hardware is faulty. She advised calling Capital Connect to get a technician out to replace the hardware. If only they'd respond to my calls. This is a safety and security issue; not being able to lock my home. This company is unethical and I wouldn't hate for another customer to experience what I have. Save your money, go with ADT. This company requires a 5 year contract and will not let you out of it (regardless of their unethical business practices, faulty hardware, and non-existent customer service) unless you pay out the remainder of the contract, something to the tune of 3K. Again, buyers beware! I have contacted the Revdex.com, yelp, google and any other reviewing medium I can so that I can warn others about this company.
