This is grade A organization to work with High quality work No hidden costs Very upfront and helpful through out the entire process They did kitchen, bedroom, inside and outside walls, and a porch for me Everything looks great It was all done in a timely manner with an extremely high level of professionalism They will have your job finished, while you are still waiting for other companies to get you a price quote You can not go wrong with Capital Construction

We hired Capital Construction to remodel a bathroom and to do some support work under our home We were told by the General Manager that everyone who worked on our home would be an employee of Capital Construction and would be wearing a Capital Construction shirt Since our home only has one bathroom we could not live here during the construction process Also it was a very dirty job so that would have made in very difficult to live here I removed a lot of valuables from the home Capital Construction placed a lockbox on the outside of our home where a key to our home was placed Once the support work was completed, they began to put the bathroom back together During week someone helped themselves to the key to our home, entered it during the night and stole jewelry (some of it priceless since it was sentimental, not worth a lot of money), a single shot shotgun that my mother in law gave my husband in 1967, a piggy bank that had been my husbands since he was a small child and a handgun that we simply forget to remove from the home They also broke the kitchen window from the inside to make it look like someone broke the window to get in The only way for someone to get the key would be if they knew the code and used it themselves or they gave it to someone and told them where these items were in the home and the only way they could have known that was if they had been snooping instead of working
Also when the tile work around the tub/shower combo it was not done correctly It is the worst tile job I have seen The man installing the tile kept having to call his boss to ask how to do things Then I find out he is subcontracted, when I was told everyone who came to my home would be an employee of Capital Construction Not true I made the tile man come back to my home and rip out a lot of tile and redo it He was not happy
I still am not pleased with the tile work, but I will live with it because I cannot afford to go buy more tile and have this reinstalled Capital Construction did offer to have it redone but they would have used the same man so why bother
Capital Construction has not offered to replace the window that was broken, has not offered us any reimbursement for the theft at our home As a matter of fact the only time we have seen the General Manager is when he initially came to our home to give us an estimate
Poor management, poor workmanship(tile work), poor communication
I feel like the manager should have at least come to our home to see the tile work so he knows what it looks like and at least he would know who he has working for him because I know for a fact the man who put this tile in is an amateur, I have a father who laid tile for 60+years and I helped him a lot and I have laid tile myself Guess I should have done that part myself
Lesson learned
I would not use this company again

I love working with Capital Construction! The estimates are free and done in a timely and VIP manner for each customer Very professional, extremely knowledgeable and excellent work ethic Contractors are there when they say they are and work is completed to your satisfaction or they return until it is! I am a real estate agent and ALWAYS call them FIRST!

Review: I HAD SIGNED A CONTRACT WITH CAPITAL CONSTRUCTION LLC AND THE CONTRACTOR [redacted] SIGNED THE CONTRACT TO DEMOLISH OLD PORCH AND INSTALL FOOTERS WITH A BACK ROOM WITH WALLS AND ROOF. STUCCO ON EXTERIOR AND EXTERIOR CONCRETE STEPS. THIS CONTRACTOR WAS PAID THE FIRST TWO INSTALLMENTS OF $16,000 TOTAL WITH COMPLETION OF BLOCKS. [redacted] TOOK THE SECOND INSTALLMENT AND DID NOT COME BACK AND FINISH THE JOB. MY BACKYARD WAS LEFT TOPSY TURVY WITH MUD AND CONCRETE BLOCKS EVERYWHERE. I TRIED CALLING THE CONTRACTOR FOR WEEKS WITH NO RESPONSE.Desired Settlement: I WOULD LIKE MY MONEY REFUNDED OR THE WORK COMPLETED IN A TIMELY FASHION AND DONE PROPERLY.
