Capital Emergency Physicians

Provider received payment from Medicare. My father paid $34.50 out of pocket co-pay. Then,provider received fully payment from VA, resulting in $34.50 refund due to my father. I contacted them by letter on 9/31/2019, explaining the issue and requesting a $34.50 refund as personal representative for my father's estate. Never received a response so called them on 12/19/19. On that date I was told they sent for a "refund review" and to allow 30 days for follow up. I called them again on 1/19/20 and was told their refund person would call me. Never received a call. Followed up by phone with them on 2/6/20 and was told that the request for refund was not previously submitted, but that it was sent on 1/21/20, and allow 30 days. Called again on 2/20/20 and was told again that the request was never sent for refund. Asked to speak to a manager. On hold over five minutes. Spoke to manager who requested I re-FAX 9/31/19 letter and personal representative paperwork. She was to confirm why refund was never issued. Letter and paperwork faxed to them on 2/20/20.
