We wanted furniture purchased in Virginia to be shipped to Costa Rica where we were building a large vacation home for rental in a resort areaCapital Exports was recommended to us by our furniture storeWe had no experience with international shipping and didn't realize that the price we were given by Capital Exports was just the beginning of the costWe wound up paying almost as much again to get our goods out of customs by a reputable carrier and delivered to the houseThis caused a delay of many weeks with our container nearly being impounded by Costa Rican customsWhen we set up the shipment with Capital Exports, we determined that we needed a full shipping container and had furniture and other goods sent directly to Capital Exports' warehouse in BaltimoreI also delivered a car's worth of boxes of home goods to be included in the shipmentWhen I was at the warehouse, our items were all over the place and we had to track down some of the boxes even though I had given clear directions about what was coming and from whereI was concerned enough to ask about how all the items will be rounded up and I was told that this is their business and it would all get donemetal dining chairs never got deliveredWhen I contacted Capital Exports about the chairs, I was told that they were still at the warehouse and did I want to have them sent to my house in Arlington, VA? Instead, I had to find a new shipper who could transport the chairs -- at the cost of an additional $-- and Capital Exports agreed to air ship the chairs to the new shipper in Miami at their expenseWhen the chairs arrived in Miami, one of the boxes of chairs was ripped open and crushed and chairs damagedCapital Exports claims that the box arrived in Baltimore this way and so that's how they shipped them to MiamiAll kinds of wrong here and I hope you will reconsider before using Capital Exports

I'm writing to inform you of a contractor that is taking money and not returning to complete the *** he was hired for We have filed a police report and the report number is *** He keeps threatening us every time we call him to schedule a time to get a refund He gets very upset when we call certain numbers (the ones listed on appliance repair referral websites) and tells us to call his cellphone, and is trying to use coercion to get us to stop calling himI'm assuming that he gets charged when we call the numbers, and they are potentially recorded As a business owner myself, I am warning as many people as possible that this man is a thief and his reviews need to be updated to reflect this information I will be happy to cooperate anyone who is willing to help, to investigate this person Thank you so much for your time

We contacted this company to repair our refrigerator/ice maker, (and they replaced the freezer motor as well), company came out promptly, repaired ridge, but when the new icemaker was placed in on 4/27/17, we told to wait for hours at least before starting ice maker to produce ice We started the ice maker on Saturday morning 4/29/17, it made exactly cubes of various sizes/dirty color, but then started leaking icy water We raised the handle up on the ice maker to stop leaking icy water, contacted this company on 5/1/via phone, and nearly every day during the work week after that date to try to schedule time for repair person to come out and repair the new ice maker, or at least find out why the ice maker was not working properly Much numerous phone calls, texts (that are in cell phone for safe keeping/review for Revdex.com), we were told by (***) that someone would be out today on 5/9/to take a look at ice maker, and to bring light cover for ridge section We contacted th
