So to answer your question - with additional work being requested by the homeowner (whose wife filed the complaint) does this not negate the complaint? We are being asked to do additional work that will effect the project completion date of the project Please correct me if I am wrong on this matter Again [redacted] to date has not mentioned the complaint his wife filed I spoke to him yesterday and again todayWhen he has requested information from me, I have provided it to him in a timely manner Please let me know what additional information you need from me on this matter I will be happy to speak to you about over the phone if necessary Thanks! Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:The only information that we have received has been been from the actual foreman that works on the project The only reason that we have been able to talk to him is because my husband has gone by the project daily to get answers The only information we know is that the "holes" will be filled by December We do not know when the project will be finished We have called the office daily, we have texted the owner that negotiated the contract, but NO ONE has provided us with a returned call, text or email We have no timeline for this project Our family has canceled Christmas because we don't have a place to live This is unacceptable when the last communication we had was August 28, promising us that the job would be finished by September Regards, [redacted]

***, Presently we are working on this project and we have direct communication with *** *** Our Superintendent met with him on Monday and went over the project status at that time. Capital Foundations regrets any past delays on this project. Thanks!

I am rejecting this response because:Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:This woman who is responding to you only tells us that she cannot give us any answers, but that she will let her boss know.  The information she provided you was not provided to us.  We are living in the house again. (We moved in December 29, 2014). The house has a drop off that I have to jump across to get out of the house and climb up when I want back in.  I am pregnant and have a toddler that I must carry because the area is too dangerous for him to walk over.  I really hope the information that Capital Foundations has provided to you is correct.   I'm not sure what [redacted] is trying to imply about my husband not mentioning the complaint.  He knows about it, but we were advised by a lawyer to be civil and try to work with them as well as we could. The most important issue about this complaint is that we were promised via email and verbally several times that the entire job would be done September 17, 2014 and then after that date, Capital Foundations refused to correspond with us at all for three months.  They knew that we were living in a hotel, yet they refused to discuss the job with us--for three months--even though we payed our installments ahead of schedule.  All of this time has passed without any sort of motivation to get the job completed.  We believe that this complaint is the only thing that has helped us get our house back. The only "extra work" my husband requested is to repair a gradient beam that was damaged during the process that must be repaired for the engineering inspection.  It is extremely important to the integrity of the structure.  It is not located on our side and is not prohibiting the final work to be completed.  It's actually on our neighbor's side.  These neighbor's have no intention on moving back in.  The other "extra work" requested was that the driveway be poured a certain way for accessibility.  Like I said before, the house has been lifted and there are no steps to allow us normal access to our home.  This "extra work" would only add to the one day they pour concrete.  Thank you very much, [redacted].  Your work is helping us see an end to this long, drawn out disaster.  Regards,
[redacted]
