The company got a call from the consumer telling them not to come to the home. [redacted] stated that the consumer was refunded the entire amount for the service.

Review: I prepaid for a pressure washing service of my home. There was an appt made for 0900 today 8/28/2014. I did not get a phone call or anyone to show up to do prescribed work. No show and no return phone calls.Desired Settlement: I see they have a A+ Revdex.com posted on their website. I have found several complaints of the same thing on [redacted]. I believe they should not boast an A+ rating for doing this type of business.

Review: I had purchased a voucher from [redacted] Local to have one room in my house painted by this company. I researched the company prior to my purchase and on their website they list themselves as be accredited by the Revdex.com. I called on 8/20 to schedule my appointment and the first available they had was 9/5. On the morning of 9/5 at approximately 9 am I called the company because I had not heard anything from them since 8/20. I was told that I was indeed the 2nd job on their schedule for the day and that I should expect the painters to arrive around 11 am. It was now 12 and no sign of any painters. I then placed another call to the company to inquire how much longer I should anticipate to wait. I was then told that there was some trouble on the 1st job and they were running 30-45 minutes late. By this time it is now 2 PM and still no sign of painters and no phone call to let me know that they would not be coming. I attempted to call the office for an update, but my call went straight to VM. I tried again at 4 PM with the same results. Meanwhile it is a Friday and all of the furniture had been removed from my daughters room in preperatin for painting. We now had to figure out a way for her to at least be able to get to her bed to sleep. On Monday morning I placed yet another call back to the company to reschedule. I was then told that the paint guys were involved in a car accident the previous Friday which is why they did not show up. I was told that someone would be to my house between 8:30-9 am on Tuesday 9/9. Guess what?! NO CALL!!!! NO SHOW!!! I called [redacted] Local and found out that this company had already submitted my voucher as completed! They required that I provide them with the voucher number when I booked the appointment. [redacted] Local still refunded my money and said that they would look into the matter on their end. I just can't believe that companies who are supposedly accredited by the Revdex.com would conduct themselves in this manor.Desired Settlement: If they are NOT accredited by the Revdex.com, please enforce making them take it off of their website so that other consumers are not affected. Thank you!

Review: On 9/13/14, I purchased a deal for "Exterior Power Washing for Any-Size Home with Deck or Driveway" from Capital Home Improvements, LLC. My experience was so bad dealing with this company that I am unlikely to ever use [redacted] for deals again. I have not had this same experience when using [redacted] and [redacted] as they are obviously doing a better job screening the companies that they partner with. After looking at the Revdex.com website, I realize that I made a mistake purchasing this deal.

My pressure washing appointment was scheduled 3 weeks out (for 10/7) and they missed the appointment. Over the course of 3 weeks, I called this company a number of times in an effort to see if my appointment could get moved up and the vast majority of times no one answered and I would leave a voicemail. Very few of my voicemails were ever returned. I placed multiple calls to find out what had happened with the no-show on 10/7 and 10/8 and I never got a response, so my final voicemail to them was to inform them that I would be requesting a refund from [redacted].Desired Settlement: This was a huge inconvenience to me as I am in the process of putting my home on the market for sale and I have been waiting for this pressure washing to get complete as one of the last things that I need to do to get my house in proper order for potential buyers.

Review: Wanted a new shower installed and the walls repaired from small amount of water damage. Although I did ask for an inexpensive shower I DO expect it to be installed correctly and not leak. After it was installed I was told to "give it 2 days to dry" so I waited 3 days tried it and it leaked profusely. As I investigated the bottom of the shower I noticed there was NO caulk placed at the bottom of the shower except directly against the wall. Obviously if you do this kind of work you should know to caulk anywhere there is a gap. The water damage was also not even attempted to be repaired as was promised. After multiple attempts to get the issues resolved and several return trips I finally gave up and paid so I wouldn't have to deal with this "contractor". I also had the porch "repaired" which was shoddy at best and some siding replaced that looks awful. The quality of this person's work is extremely subpar. Don't waste your time dealing with this "company".

Also on the website for this "business" is A Revdex.com logo which he said "was found through a generic google search". I informed him that since I am a member of the Revdex.com and have to pay monthly fees it would be wise for him to remove that logo since it is deceptive.Desired Settlement: A refund of at least 25% would be reasonable.

I've wasted the morning preparing for a power washing of my house. Now I'm left with more work and no service from Capital Home Improvements LLC.Desired Settlement: Would like an apology and a full refund.
