In December I was paralyzed in a motorcycle accident from my sternum to my feetI require a wheelchair to maneuver around the house and communityI was given a list of wheelchair companies to order my wheelchair for purchaseI ordered my wheelchair from Capital Medical and was told I would be responsible for *** of cost

Capital Medical Supply has had my **-year-old mother's wheelchair in their possession for several weeks due repair work they've done on it beforeToday is Feb9, They have had her wheelchair since Dec28, Their current task is to replace two wheels at a cost of approximately $***, for which they took a credit card over the phone weeks agoThey have not responded to several calls from her nursing home nurses asking about the status of the wheelchair, so the nurses have had to turn to me to help them out

A *** wheelchair was purchased 10/4/in the amount of $***by my Medicare, and the company is trying to charge me to fix itThey were suppose to come out 10/26/for a fee of $**.00, and never showed upMy caregivers are in pain due to the wheelchair being so difficult to pushMy Occupational Therapist has tried to contact them with no calls being returned

Called business spoke with ***, he stated that the wheelchair was fixed within hours of them having itOnce the wheelchair was fixed it was returned to the patients roomThe wheel chair got moved into storageNo communication happened between the nurses and the consumer

Capital Medical Supply provided customer service but did not refunded me due changeI tried several time to get my change and was told that the check is in the mail but it never was

*** called from the business stated that he has spoken with the consumer and his insurance multiple times in regards to the issue*** stated that upon *** *** getting his wheel chair he was making special requestSome of those request were that the frame be titanium, a special cushion,
etc*** stated that before the request were put in he went over with *** *** that insurance will only cover a certain amountThe amount to be covered is only for what is medically necessaryA wheel chair is coded through insurance*** stated that there is nothing that he can do to make *** *** insurance cover the total cost of the wheel chairThe insurance paid the amount that they allow but the remaining amount is owed by *** ***
