As per our conversation today this provides a response to *** *** complaint.I do apologize for any miscommunication that occurred at the time of our dryer vent sweep at *** *** residence We believed and still do believe that, given the circurmastances, the correct service at the
time was to sweep the dryer vent. She had an unsafe situation and gave us no indication that she was making immediate repairs. Her dryer vent was disconnected and venting into the basement. Not a safe situation. We reconnected the vent so that it was venting as intended and then swept the vent.Again, we perfomed our service, as we always try to do, based on doing the proper service given the situation and not for a quick $ I am truly sorry that *** *** having been our customer for many years, was unhappy with our service

Chimney Sweeps was 100% out of line performing the work they did given the circumstances.  There were no "unsafe" conditions but a recommendation.  With the recommendation he specifically told me he would fail the inspection required by the HOA.  I had no choice other then to fix what he recommended immediately for the needed paperwork by the deadline of the HOA.    What they are claiming of unsafe conditions is simply not true.  Just another untruth to justify doing work that should not have been perforned.

I recently began using the Capital One Secured credit card. I have been having issues with the types of payments they will accept. Each time I use the card I pay it off with the hopes to build my credit. My last two payments were held, which is understandable because they have to clear the payments. However, I called in on my most previous payment because the clearance was took over a 5 day period. I spoke with countless representatives because of their need to transfer whenever they don't know the answer to a question. Finally, a "Senior Account Rep" decided he was going to call my bank we waited on hold for 15 minutes before we were disconnected. I called back, I spoke with another "Senior Account Rep" name Patch, and he conferenced my finance and I in with the wrong bank unbeknownst to us. The bank requested account numbers and of course we asked why because there was a third party on the phone "Capital One," the Capital One rep spoke up to verify it was to clear the payment. My finance gave the rep his checking account number. She claimed she couldn't find it, she then requested the savings account number, which was not the account we were paying out of. Finally, she states again I can't find you, my finance exclaims I just spoke with another representative through our bank who was able to clear me in no time. Finally, she states her bank name by the grace of God and we exclaimed that is not our bank, both representatives (from the bank and capital one grew silent). At this point I am furious, i've never had to call my bank to clear a payment with this company. I immediately requested his manager and he transferred me again to the wrong department. I've since then had to close my bank account and start all over to prevent fraudulent activity from those to representatives. Capital One is a scam.
