We installed a new 2.5 ton[redacted] 14 SEER heat pump and matching inside air handler and new thermostatwith a 5 year manufactures warranty and an additional 5 years with customerregistration at Mr. [redacted] rental property on June 27th, 2014. all ductwork. The $[redacted].00 that he says was for the condensate line is not accurate. He wasbilled this amount additionally to replace the feed wires for his electricheaters. Our records do not reference any modification of the existingcondensate lines or pan. The fact that the condensate line was existing and we did not do anymodifications and it has drained properly for over a year is evident to thefact that we bare no responsibility as claimed.. These drains were cleaned atthe time of install. His claim is 13 Months after this install was performed. We went back out several times after the initial installation responding tocomplaints that system was not heating properly. Each time found that the thermostatwiring was not as we installed. Had replace the thermostat on one occasion dueto the fact the wiring had been changed and shorted it out. We went above and beyond tomake sure that this customers’ HVAC system was operating correctly. Obviously, after over a year we have no control over his drain line issues. If he was toprovide an invoice showing we did any kind of drain repair or any warranty thatwe provided we would be more than happy to reimburse for any and all of therequested monies. Sincerely,

There was no offer to try to resolve this matter.  As [redacted] stated himself, he decided not to follow through with the work that we paid him to do.  In fact, he not only cashed the $65.00 check for the estimate, we are still waiting for the refund for the $2500.00.  The funds he stated never cleared were in fact approved and available to him at 9:06 PM on 7/16/14.  I have documentation from the credit card company to support this.
So [redacted] has charged us $65.00 for an estimate (we had already "diagnosed" that the air conditioning was broken), agreed to install a new system, charged my credit for the deposit and then without any justification refused to perform the service.   So far this company has $2565.00 of our money and has refused to do anything.  I have now had to pay someone else to come out and do the job that [redacted] has already been paid to do.
This company has been nothing but evasive and rude.  I am sorry that we ever found them and hope that this can be resolved without going to court.

Review: Service provider was hired to install a complete HVAC system. Installation was not done correctly and had to pay to have another repair person fix the faulty wiring of the Thermostat. Faulty wiring resulted in a $500 Electric bill since the heatpump never came on and defaulted to the electric heater 100% for a month 24X7 running all the time.

Now, after one year the condesate line backed up and water seeped into the ceiling and collapsed the ceiling. Repeated calls have been unreturned.Desired Settlement: I would like a reimbursement for the monies I spent to remedy the wiring mistake (over $100), and a refund for the service he charged me to put in a new Condensate line one year ago ($286.00) plus the deductable for my homeowners policy claim to repair the ceiling. ($500).

Review: We called this company to get an estimate to get our air conditioning repaired after it stopped working. [redacted] (the owner) came out and gave an estimate to replace the system. We paid $65.00 for the estimate which he said would go toward the work.We agreed on a price and paid a $2500.00 deposit on a credit card. The day [redacted] was to do the work he did not show up. My husband called and he said he was not going to do the work and he would refund the $2500.00, but not the $65.00. I left multiple messages at their office to try and resolve this situation. Finally, [redacted] called me back. She said that they were not going to refund the $65.00 because she said this was for a diagnosis. I explained that we were told that this money was for an estimate and that the money goes toward the work to fix/replace it. We had already agreed on a price and scheduled a day for the work to begin and they backed out. She said that she was not going to refund the $65.00. She said that they were not able to do the work on the estimate and then hung up on me.I know my credit card company will not hold me liable for the $2500.00, but I paid the $65.00 with a personal check which they have already cashed. At this point, I would like this refunded as they have not honored the estimate that they gave to us. We also have documentation in the form of text from [redacted] letting us know that everything was set up and when he would be starting the job and then subsequently saying he would not be doing the job.Desired Settlement: $65.00

Also, this is how we came into contact with [redacted]. He had placed a add looking for an HVAC repair company to repair his AC unit. Please note (Repair) not an estimate! I responded back to his request and explained that we charge 65.00 per hour and no trip charge. [redacted] agreed to this and I arrived at his residence on 07-10-2014. I found a bad compressor on his AC unit and gave him a price to replace it. He asked what a whole new system would cost and I gave him a price of 3800.00. He explained that they could not afford that and asked if we could do it for 3500. I told him that I would check with my supplier and call him back. I called him and told him that we could do it for 3500.00. He asked if we took credit cards and I told him that our bank was in the process of setting us up for that. Did not here back from [redacted] for several days and he texted me back 4 days later (07-14-2014) asking if we were set up for credit cards yet. I told him yes and he called saying he wanted to proceed with the heat pump installation. [redacted] agreed to give us 2500.00 down before beginning the job and the remaining 1000.00 after the job was complete. We scheduled the job for Thursday 07-17-2014. We never heard back from [redacted] with the credit card information. I called [redacted] on Wednesday (07-16-2014) telling him that we had not received the credit card information and that we needed the 2500.00 deposits before beginning the job. He said that he would have his wife call us with it. We never received the credit card information till after 8pm that night. On Thursday morning his credit card still had not cleared. After careful consideration we decided to not do business with [redacted]. I called him and told him this and explained that we would give him a full refund. His credit card never did clear! His wife ([redacted]) called several times demanding a refund of the 65.00 service charges. My wife who takes care of all the accounts called her back and explained that this was the service charge for coming out to diagnose the problem and that [redacted] had agreed to this. She became very threatening and angry, my wife told her to have a good day and ended the conversation. I cannot emphasize enough that I never verbally stated or written stated that the service charge would be included in the quote!! On the contrary, I have documentation that a 65.00 an hour would be charged and [redacted] signature on my invoice.
