Review: On 6/2/14 I received an estimate for a replacement door and frame to be installed in my production area at our office. The total estimate was $1701.50 and was received via email. The next day I acknowledged the estimate and was asked to provide a down payment of 50% for the materials as this was a special order and their vendor was requiring them to pay in full up front. The 50% deposit of $904.77 was charged to my corporate [redacted] card on 6/3/14. On 6/20/14 I followed up via email with the vendor on the status of the our purchase and installation and I received a note back stating "i apologize I've had issues with this email while I've been traveling. Please send all emails to c[redacted] until further notice I will be back in on Wednesday and find out exactly where the order stands. Sorry for the lack of communication on my end." I did not hear anything further and left a voicemail on 7/7/14 to follow up. I also sent another email asking the status to which I got the following reply:

"I truly apologize as you know we are on top of projects like this and get them completed in a timely manner. The new door supplier we have is not performing like our previous supplier (who closed there door & hardware division 6/1/14) I will find out why I haven't seen your door / frame as of yet, I know the original unit was damaged in shipping but this is ridiculous as far as the time frame being delivered. I've been out of the office with a torn bicep / rotator cuff injury . Also we ordered your panic device for the rear door yesterday ."

That was the last communication I have had. I left multiple messages and emails and no calls or emails after 7/7 were returned. I disputed the charge with [redacted] in August and last week received a letter from them stating that the merchant provided them with a copy of the charge slip and said services were rendered - when in fact they were not. I left merchant a voicemail AGAIN and never received a response. I have called [redacted] again this morning (9/30/14) and re-submitted my dispute.Desired Settlement: We want our money back. I have had to order the door from another vendor.

Review: Our initial service with this company (Capital Safe & Lock or Tolland Safe and Lock, one in the same) was on 2/21/14. He was given my credit card, it was processed and $407.50 paid. On 3/26/14 a duplicate charge showed up on my credit card statement for the same exact amount. He was here once. After leaving several voice messages for him to rectify the issue, he finally created a "credit memo" dated 4/8/14 but did not follow that through to the credit card company. After leaving several more voice mail messages and not getting a response I contacted my credit card company in July. They issued me a temporary credit while they did their research. On August 26 they exhausted their efforts because they were not dealing with [redacted] himself or his company, they were trying to deal with some credit card processing company (Square....?). Once back in my hands I tried to call [redacted] myself on 9/8/14 and to my surprise he answered. He seemed very sincere and was willing to work with me to resolve the issue. "He thought it was already corrected". He said he'd call me back. I called again on 9/12 @ 9:40am, 9/23 @ 8:35am, 9/29 @ 2:30pm and each time I was told by him, he'd call me back. He has not. I called and left voice mail messages on 10/2 @3:40pm, 10/7 @ 12:15pm and 10/8 @ 1:20pmDesired Settlement: Refund of the duplicate charge.
