An incorrect photo of a product that is not currently manufactured by Capital Safety was posted on another company's (distributor)...

website.
Capital Safety is a manufacturer and can only legally sell and return products through licensed distributors. Because Mr. [redacted] is not a licensed distributor, we cannot take the products back from him directly and must go through the distributor they were purchased from . The Customer Service Representative at Capital Safety offered to assist in the return of the items, however we need to know the distributor that Mr. [redacted] used to acquire them. At the time of the call, Mr. [redacted] did not have that information. If that information is provided by Mr. [redacted], we will still be happy to assist with the return of any unused items.
The local Sales Representative for Capital Safety in Mr. [redacted]'s location is Kent [redacted]. Mr. [redacted] also tried calling Mr. [redacted] but was unsuccessful in speaking with him. Mr. [redacted]'s phone number is [redacted] if Mr. [redacted]'s would like to reach out to him as well. Thank you.

As a manufacturer, capital safety is in the business of "selling" their products. Therefore, capital safety is a distributor of their products, by definition. I see absolutely no reason whatsoever why they cannot fulfill my request. Also, if the product is no longer made, why is it still on the listings for their "distributors"?
In addition, the representative from the local distributor that was mentioned in the response not once contacted me. This is the first I have heard of this.
The way that capital safety has handled this whole ordeal is very unprofessional. They have lied to me and to the rep that has assisted me with getting this issue resolved.
The supply company that I initially ordered the harness in question from, on the other hand, has worked with me extensively with this. The item has been returned and replaced with a " suitable" item, but this does not satisfy my issue with capital safety.
I am aware of how sellers list inventory. Their data bases come from manufacturers. Nowhere else.
For capital safety to suggest that the item shown on the site from which I purchased the original item was fabricated, and didn't come from them is a flat out lie and they should be ashamed of themselves.
Therefore, I AM NOT satisfied.
