December 2013 I purchased a Subaru 2013 BRZ Limited and they told me I need to get extended warranty incase anything occurred. I then purchased such and asked if I could ever cancel and they told me yes! February 2015, I cancelled and went into the dealership to confirm cancellation as they told me I needed to sign a document as well as odometer statement. Since then I have been getting the run around. Finally April 4th, the financial manager stated that the lady sent a check to my bank [redacted] March 23rd for the pro-rated amount of $1439.72. Today again I contacted my bank [redacted] who states they have never received any check at all! Well, I had my bank call and spoke to [redacted] the manager who supposedly this week had no idea yet he spoke to [redacted] week prior. The financial manager keeps giving me the run around and my bank has yet to even know where this check is! I want my refund and I have been a loyal customer and I have all my rights. Where is my check of $1439.72! I'm an active duty Marine and my time as well as my loyalty has been compromised by this company. I have waited over 2 months now and my money and time have been floating around!Business Response We have spoken with this customer and tried to explain that we mailed a check to his bank which is per our dealer agreement when the bank paid for the service contract and they want to cancel. The check was mailed on the 23rd of march but has not cleared our bank. I put a stop payment on that check today and will be overnighting a new check today 4/13/2016.
