Review: I brought my car in at the end of September for an oil leak problem and my brakes were starting to make this horrible squeal-so I requested them to take a look at them and let me know if there was an issue. They responded back to me abt my oil leak issue and when I asked abt the brakes they said “they are perfect-I wouldn’t touch them” the reason there was a squeal was because of a “glaze” over the pads. They claim they would ruff them up the pads and that it shouldn’t be a concern about them (my breaks). I paid over $700 for that bill.

Now this past week, 11/05, Tuesday my brake light came on my way to work; by the time I left my job at the end of the day (4 miles drive back and forth) my brakes stop gripping completely and I was coasting to stops. So I went to [redacted] for them to run a test and they said it could be my brake fluid. So I bought some and it took the whole carton; which the auto-mechanic said he never saw that before. But by Saturday by brakes were still not gripping. So I called another mechanic shop they took me instantly. When I ended up paying over $800 at the end of Saturday-the mechanic showed me that not only was my calibers completely gone-but my back breaks were rusted over and my front brakes were almost riding on metal. Basically I had no way of stopping my car. I asked if a mechanic saw this less than 2 months ago would they have noticed this damage. He instantly said YES, and that the other place probably saw it and knew it was going to be a large job and didn’t want to do it.Desired Settlement: I want an apology for them putting my life/car in danger and for claiming to be specialist! I can’t believe a mechanic would allow someone to drive a car that was on the verge of causing major damage to not only me but others! I am outrage that a company like this is even open.

I would love a refund-because I would hate to know that these crooks have a cent of my money. I should get a lawyer and sue but that wasn’t the way I was raised. If I could get my money back at the end of all of this; that would be wonderful.
