Capital Wraps Reviews (1)

CapitalWraps does not honor contracts or design documents that they provide.CapitalWraps was contracted to provide services on 10/6/14. Our salesperson was [redacted]. On 10/7/14, we were assigned a Project Manager, [redacted]. [redacted] provided designs on 10/8/14 and 10/15/14 that CapitalWraps subsequently refused to install. I asked for the name of a supervisor and none was provided. I had to call another office to find a person that purported to be a supervisor - [redacted]. Between [redacted] and [redacted], 5 additional designs were provided. [redacted] was forced to expend time and resources to find/discover the hidden issues with design.I spoke with the company Principal - [redacted] today. He had no explanation for why his company would provide 2 designs and then refuse to install them. It took over 2 weeks and countless emails, phone calls, etc. to get the money returned.Desired SettlementRevdex.com consumers should be made aware that this company does not honor contracts. Business Response I am [redacted], the manager of Capital Wraps. This complaint is a complete falsehood. The project was terminated as of 11-3-2014, by the client herself. At no time did we ever refuse to install the wrap this client asked us to provide because the wrap was NEVER approved by the client. In our final conversation I asked the client if she wanted Capital Wraps to change her partial wrap to a full wrap because she was unsatisfied with the proofs (all 7 of them) and the coverage on her businesses van. On average it takes a few weeks from the time we are contracted by a client to create a wrap, design, and print, to the final installation of that wrap. Less than 4 weeks had passed from the time she made contact with us until she terminated the contract. Nearly every member of our team spoke with this client in an effort to satisfy her and give her the wrap she desired- which was impossible to achieve. My designers and fellow employees have spent numerous hours on this project, as well as hand holding this particular client. It is unfortunate there isn't a Better People Bureau to warn businesses about the person who filed this complaint.Capital Wraps has wrapped thousands of vehicles and event structures for thousands of clients. Thankfully 99% of our clients are not [redacted] and have been thrilled with the work we have done for them. Daily I speak to business owners who are thriving and love the brilliant advertising we put on their vehicles. In the course of almost a decade in business we have been very fortunate to work with people of integrity and honesty, this client would be the exception. We honor all contracts, including this one. When the client terminated the contract yesterday I alerted all parties who had worked with her that this was her decision and we would abide by it. She will be charged for the project management and the design time we spent on her project. Consumer Response Here is a copy of an email communication sent to[redacted], CapitalWraps:Date: Friday, October 24, 2014 2:44 PMTo:[redacted] Subject: Follow-up on our conversationHi [redacted]:Just following up on our conversation this afternoon. My understanding is that your supervisor is "deciding how to proceed." To recap:[redacted] has accepted the design proof created by a Capital Wraps designer and forwarded by Capital Wraps Project Manager ([redacted]) on October 15, 2014. However, Capital Wraps is undecided as to whether they will provide the design per the proof and honor the contract signed on October 6, 2014.You anticipate responding on this issue within the next 24 hours/by October 25, 2014.Thank you for your time.--------------[redacted] responded on October 29, 2014 that the company would not install the requested wrap. In a November 3, 2014 conversation with [redacted], when I asked why the company provided (2) design proofs they were unwilling to install, her reply was "I'm sorry that happened." [redacted] then attempted to sell me additional services. At that point, we had lost confidence in CapitalWraps ability to execute on or honor contracts. The excuses I received from CapitalWraps about the horrible performance against this contract included everything from, "your salesperson has a sick aunt" to "there are too many people involved within CapitalWraps, so that's why the mistakes happened." We will not be paying for any project management or design time for the sub-par services provided. It is unfortunate that instead of honestly and professionally addressing these documented facts, [redacted] chooses to name call and make libelous claims. [redacted]. Clearly this apathetic approach to paid contracts is a top down issue.Again, Revdex.com should make others aware that CapitalWraps did not honor this contract. As a conduit to consumers, Revdex.com should ensure buyers are advised to "beware" and "leery" when considering this company.
