I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I wildl wait until for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved
All I wanted was the business to honor the agreement and not drag this out any longer than the months that they have already. Regards,

We have experienced data processing errors from our web site providers resulting in numerous vehicle information being incorrect. We make every reasonable effort to represent each vehicle correctly, but unfortunately this feed had been wrong. The customer notified us via email that the email he...

received contained a link to a price that was substantially less than the value of the vehicle. We then notified our data feed provider to look into how this occurred. After investigation, it was determined that the feed this customer received included data that was parsed from the wrong field by our web providers. I spoke to them about how and why this could happen and they have since fixed the problem. In order to protect us from such an error occurring, we have a Legal Site Disclaimer on our web site that explains though every reasonable effort is made to be accurate, we are not responsible for any errors, including typographical, data transmission, or software errors that appear on the site. It further states that if any posted price or other service is incorrect we will only be responsible for honoring the correct price, and that it is the customers responsibility to verify with us that all details are accurate. Again, this is a very uncommon occurrence and one we wish was avoided. However, immediately upon notice from the customer, we explained to him that the price he is seeing is indeed a data transmission error and not an accepted price on that vehicle. We offered him a purchase price that we felt was a fair market price for the vehicle. I have included the Legal Site Disclaimer as an attachment as well as notification from the data transmission provider explaining how the error occurred. Our hope was that the customer would have accepted our initial explanation on the discrepancy. We will continue to offer this customer a fair price or deal on any vehicle of interest, but one that is within reasonable market allowances.
