First of all Mr [redacted] was not present at any time during this interaction therefore, cannot state what happened In addition, the vehicle was not advertised as stated As with any retail establishment, if a person is purchasing an item without financing, it will be a different price than if you are financing This is a buy here/pay here facility We do not require full coverage insurance and we require very low down payments The numbers are pretty clear that if you are buying cash it is one price and if you are financing it is another Mrs [redacted] left a $deposit and executed a document clearly stating that the deposit was non-refundable should she not proceed with the purchase Mrs [redacted] was made aware of this This dealership held the vehicle for days waiting for Mrs [redacted] to purchase the vehicle She then came and advised she could not get a loan through the bank She was again advised as stated on her receipt that she executed that the deposit was non-refundable However, she could transfer it to another vehicle or keep it on that vehicle and continue with the financing through the dealership Mr [redacted] was the one that came in a week later and refusing to hear what was being told to him It came to the point of harassment wherein he was asked to leave or we would be calling the police Mr [redacted] in fact was being aggressive, maybe because he was dealing with a woman, he thought he could intimidate the situation Therefore, he was asked to leave. We are up front and have everyone sign the document clearly stating that the deposits are non-refundableWe provided Mrs [redacted] with the option of transferring her deposit or proceeding with financing that vehicle She declined

Thank you for replying months later. The dealership couldn't have even simply "given" me the vehicle like stated because before the final payment was made, I was informed the car would not start, check engine light came on, and that the issue would be rectified and if there was any issues to give them a call. Prior to this issue I was told the car would also receive a proper inspection. The very next day after all this was done and I picked up the car and noticed an immediate issue and the check engine light reappeared just hours after receiving it. I'm just concerned as to a receiving a proper inspection and when I'm told to call them to rectify the issue, they did try after numerous attempts on my end, but the issue NEVER got fixed on their end. Communication was kept on my end even after numerous messages and attempts to reach out. Warranty yes only covered 1 diagnosis fee, did not cover all labor hours, and all parts needed to fix an issue. Any good dealer that wanted to remain a good dealership would have made sure the issue got rectified 100%.

First of all Mr. [redacted] was not present at any time during this interaction therefore, cannot state what happened.  In addition, the vehicle was not advertised as stated.  As with any retail establishment, if a person is purchasing an item without financing, it will be a different price...

than if you are financing.  This is a buy here/pay here facility.  We do not require full coverage insurance and we require very low down payments.  The numbers are pretty clear that if you are buying cash it is one price and if you are financing it is another.  Mrs. [redacted] left a $100 deposit and executed a document clearly stating that the deposit was non-refundable should she not proceed with the purchase.  Mrs. [redacted] was made aware of this.  This dealership held the vehicle for 5 days waiting for Mrs. [redacted] to purchase the vehicle.  She then came and advised she could not get a loan through the bank.  She was again advised as stated on her receipt that she executed that the deposit was non-refundable.  However, she could transfer it to another vehicle or keep it on that vehicle and continue with the financing through the dealership.  Mr. [redacted] was the one that came in a week later and refusing to hear what was being told to him.  It came to the point of harassment wherein he was asked to leave or we would be calling the police.  Mr. [redacted] in fact was being aggressive, maybe because he was dealing with a woman, he thought he could intimidate the situation.  Therefore, he was asked to leave. We are up front and have everyone sign the document clearly stating that the deposits are non-refundable. We provided Mrs. [redacted] with the option of transferring her deposit or proceeding with financing that vehicle.  She declined.

We provide a layaway program for people to purchase a vehicle and put it on hold with no fees and/or interest.  This vehicle was purchased AS/IS Cash sale and put on layaway for two months.  After sitting for two months, the vehicle required a new battery, which I advised [redacted].  I...

could have just had the vehicle jumped and given her the vehicle, but I didn't.  I replaced it and had the vehicle reinspected.  This dealership incurred the expense of a third party warranty as part of the sale.  [redacted] contacted us regarding an issue with the vehicle.  We had it looked at by a third party mechanic who diagnosed it as an issue with the battery connection.  We paid for that diagnosis.  We also provided [redacted] with the contact information for this mechanic so that if she had any questions, she could speak to them herself.  Later [redacted] contacted us again to advise she was still having an issue.  It was resent out, at our cost, and they could not find the problem.  She was advised she should take it to her own mechanic and have it diagnosed.  She had the vehicle diagnosed and fixed and the warranty covered the work.  However, [redacted] did not inquire as to how much the costs would be or what would be covered prior to having the work done.  Instead she got the bill and then came here to ask us to help her in finding out what the costs were.  We contacted the mechanic and the warranty company and were informed that she was charged 2 diagnostic fees and that they would not compromise on the labor rate.  She wanted us to cover these costs which she was advised we could not do.  Again, the vehicle was purchased AS/IS with us incurring the costs of a third party warranty and us incurring the costs of two diagnostics and a repair.  Each and every time [redacted] came to the dealership, I spoke with her at length and I returned each and every phone call.  I believe this dealership went above and beyond what is required of us.
