Customer has been contacted and building is set to be installed on Monday, October 23rd

I am rejecting this response because:contractor did show on October 24th, and put the building up and was paid in full, however, now I am awaiting panel garage doors in order for the building
to be complete I was made aware that it would be done a week or two after the building just want to ensure the process doesn't take months as before. months as before

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2016/02/10) */
First of all the concrete was not done by Capitol Buildings so filing a complaint against our company over a concrete pad is wrongWe sell and install metal buildingsI f you want to bash someone then get the right companyI talked to the
concrete contractor he used and he only paid $for his concrete job so if he paid someone else $for a pad when the contractor had agreed to fix his mistake then I say that's on youYou made the decision to not let them fix the pad and also made the decision to over pay someone else to pour you another padEither way its not our issue, we do metal buildings not concrete so I will expect this to be removed from our records asap or the customer and the Revdex.com can deal with our attorneysThe customer left out the part where once he convinced our crew to drop off the materials for his garage he proceeded to stop payment on his check and obtained property by pretense and we had to go through his bank to get this resolvedHe is not as innocent as he makes this all sounds, he has been very hard to deal with and we have made concessions to be a go between for him and the concrete contractor to try and help him out with this problem even though its not our mistakeOur desired resolution is to have this stricken from our report immediately

My contract was with Capitol Buildings not ***When they delivered my building I found out the building was a foot short on one sideThen we got to measuring and building was not square it inches off on both sidesWhen I talked to Joe w*** he told they would pour foot of concrete and make measurement correctThat was going to make concrete more out of squareThe foot he was going to add on was where my backside anchors would beThe reason it was out of square was when they made the forms and checked diagonal measurement they weren't riteInstead of checking the problem they shifted the form to make make diagonal measurement correctAdding the foot was going to throw the diagonal measurement offAfter I conversation I knew I had a problem so I did try to cancel check but but found out we couldn't do thatThen he had all my money and I had a slab of concrete that a building couldn't sit onAfter that I talked to a man named Paul who said they could cut concrete diagonally off both ends and repour concrete and would square padAfter that they quit answering phone are returning callsI had no choice but tear up concrete and redoI called the man who was going to put building up and he came down and put it upLooks good nowIf you'll give me a fax number I can send you pictures of how the pad looked and pictures of what he wanted to do to fix itI also can go to another building in Great Falls and take pictures. It is out of square and too long on one sideHis ad says Customer Satisfaction GuaranteedMy satisfaction on a scale of to is I would like for him to see the pictures and tell me if it was his money would he want a building looking like mine was going to look! THANKS

Again, Capitol Buildings does not pour concrete periodLook at your contract for concrete, no where does it say Capitol Buildings on itYou did sign a contract with a concrete contractor not Capitol Buildings and my next move will be to sue you and the Revdex.com for slanderLook at your contract and remove this complaint accordinglyIf you have a problem with *** then take it up with themI know for a fact that several of my staff here talked to you and worked with *** to come up with a solution and they did and you told them it was too wet and you would call them when your ground dried outInstead you hired someone else to tear out your pad and repour itThat is your business but by law they have the right to fix or rectify the problem and you took that away from them so that's your problem nowEither way that's not our fight you can take that up with themRemove the negative comments about concrete on a building suppliers report or we will sue you for slander

In the paperwork I sent you I had information about my contact with the man who was going to repair padThe only day it suited him was the next time they were calling for rainThey were playing games! I can send you the copies of what I paid on concreteI paid *** for nine yards of concreteWhen they thru with concrete the man got his boss on phone and asked me what the concrete price wasHe told me to write the check to the man that poured it and he said to pay $I did but it was supposed to be $When I give him the check that was wrote in his name he said it was supposed to be and I said your boss said thatWell i'll give you the rest and I give him centsNever wrote a check to ***I will go to the bank and get copies of checks and send them to youIf he wants to get papers on slandering him to come onI talked to judges and lawyers and the only reason I didn't sue him was all of said it might years and I wanted my building upI talked to the concrete workers when they came and they said he was a contractor to capitol buildingsI was a Supervisor for *** the ten years I worked and I was responsible to make sure they did things correctThe man just don't know my building is sitting where sees it on a busy roadHave had people to stop and lookI know I stopped from buying from him because they have already got there concrete work doneMy lawyer friend said I couldn't put a sign up with his name on because he could get me for slanderBut nobody controls my mouth and it is going to continue working

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 6, 2016/04/08) */
the customer was clearly informed that this building was not a code approved building and the contract clearly states it is not a permitted buildingThe customer also signed his contract and asked us to order this building in his name and is
now asking for a permitted building to which he did not purchaseWhen I spoke to him yesterday I told him I would turn it over to our accounting department for cancellation at his request but they would contact him because according to the contract that he clearly signed he is responsible for the cost of the materials which is an additional $on top of the $down that he paidThe contract also states in bold letters that there are no refunds on deposits alsoIf I need to submit a copy of his signed contract I will be happy to do so
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 11, 2016/04/14) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
This is my first dealings with the Northampton County Coded enforcement and Capital BuildingsI know I signed the contract, but was fully under the impression that I could build this building on my propertyThe building I put the down payment on CAN NOT be built in the state or Northampton County(legally) because it does not meet code and the county will not issue me a building permitI inquired to Capital Buildings about the code restrictions and was told for me to meet these requirements, it would cost an additional $2,The price went from $5,to $7,I canceled the order and I am just asking for a refund because Capital Buildings has not done any work on my property

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and I accept it

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and I accept itPending they actually keep their word for a change

I am rejecting this response because:
I was scheduled for install on Friday and installer still could not come because reportedly the sheet metal was not in, mind you I was threthened with lawsuit back in april because sheet metal had already been ordered and I could not get out of contractLies, Lies, LiesI was told building would be installed by first week in April (12wks), it is now July 17, no building, how did company have an good better business rating when I ordered, I just don't understandI have called on numerous occasion, sent certified letter and have now begun process for small claim suit, ridiculous!

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/12/30) */
It was not months before he was contacted, we had contacted him several times and told him where were in scheduling and his job was coming up, we contacted the concrete crews for every time he asked us to and he wanted their number we didn't
tell him he had to contact themWhen they went to his property the grass was not removed in spots and it has to be and the ground was not level by a transitWhy would my guys go there and not pour it? They lose money if they don't work and that's why there is a $return trip charge that is clearly stated in the contract he signedHe refused to pay the return trip charge the day we were there and also refused to pay my guys to do the grading for him which we offered to do at a very fair price so we could get his concrete pouredHe has refused to pay the return trip fee according to the contract and the job has been stuck due to him being hardheaded and stubbornIf he's not paying our people then they're not going back until he agrees to and that is fairThey have tried to contact him several times and he would not answer his phone and when I last spoke to him he refused again to let us come pour the concrete saying he wants a refundThere are no refunds on deposits and it is clearly stated in our contract that we do not give refunds because his building has already been orderedIf you do not give us permission to enter your property and pay any fees you have accrued then it is clearly your fault that your building is not getting put upHe has a paid in full job sitting here waiting on him, it is his responsibility to pay the $return trip fee and then we can move forwardHe will not lose any money he has paid and his building is in our holding facility waiting for his pad to be pouredReasonable amounts of time to complete a job include many things including weather and we have had significant amounts of rain this year and that we can not controlThe job continues to be on hold awaiting the customer
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2016/01/03) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
The response that Capitol has sent is ridiculous and I can provide phone statements from July until now showing how many times I have called them and also showing they have not called me as they are claimingWhen they came toward the end of November they did say the ground was not level obviously one of there scams because I took there transit and showed them it was in fact level I'm an Industrial Millwright and I know how to use a transit(I guess they were hoping to squeeze a little more money out of me) They could have poured the concrete that day but the guys that came stated they had another job to get toThis was in November I paid them $in July and now here we are in JanuaryThey are saying weather was a factor in the timeIt didn't rain for months straight..: I can provide witness statements on how they have talked to me and also can provide documentation showing there lack of communicationI don't believe any reasonable person would believe months is a reasonable amount of time to have the building upYou still have to wait I believe they said 4-weeks after concrete is poured to get building put upThat's if they even do that when they say they willIt's also winter now and everyone knows what happens if you pour concrete when it's freezing outsideI just want MY money back and to be done with this shady business
Final Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2016/01/06) */
We sell over buildings a year so I can assure you we are not a shady businessLike we stated before the customer has an order and contract with our company that clearly states no refunds because we have already purchased his building and is in our holding facility waiting on the concrete to be poured in which the customer has put us on hold and told us not to come to his propertyThe customer has to grant us access to the property to get our job done and is making excusesSo now a millwright knows better how to use a transit than someone who grades everyday for a living, okWe as a company would like nothing more than to get his concrete poured and his building put upThere is absolutely nothing wrong with pouring concrete when its cold outside as long as the temperature is above freezingWhy else would we come there unless we wanted to pour his concrete, no one is trying to squeeze more money out of this customer but the ground has to be level to pour the concreteThe customer is stating this and that about calling him and scheduling but the facts are that we came there and tried to pour his pad and have talked to him several times to get his pad pouredIf this customer clearly does not understand how rain affects pouring concrete then he is clearly misinformed, if the ground is saturated you cant back a concrete truck in the yard because it will get stuck and then there is another bill for a tow truck, if you cant get concrete in there then how do you pour the padWe have had above average levels of rain this year and it was always raining again before the last rain dried upPlain and simple, there are no refunds on deposits and he signed the contract stating he understood thisGive us access to the property so we can get the concrete poured and the building put up and quit wasting everyones time writing to the Revdex.comthe customer is part of the reason its been months that he's claiming
Final Consumer Response /* (4200, 14, 2016/01/07) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
This is ridiculous it's one excuse after another with this companyI have not told them they could not come and pour the concreteIt also says on the paper that the contract is not binding so it really doesn't mean anythingIt has not rained for months straight, so what's another excuse? if you look them up on Facebook or Google you can find I'm not the only one who has had problems with themThey don't have enough help is the problem I'm guessing but that's not my faultI have PROOF how many times I have called them and they haven't called meYou can barely even get them on the phoneI guarantee if you call them they won't answer it will go to voicemailIt's winter time and u are rarely going to find enough days straight without it freezing for the concrete to dryI guess they think waiting until next summer would be an appropriate amount of time alsoI know ANYONE that gave a company $would expect what they paid for in less than monthsI don't feel like I'm being in-reasonable, I have waited long enoughIt doesn't take months to build a house!!!

Actually this is the first time we have been notified of this complaint from Revdex.com.The customers whole response is full of lies and I will not address this complaint. They did a chargeback on their credit card, and have broken their contractual obligations and we will have our lawyersfile charges
against them as so to recoup our losses for metal that was ordered in their name under contract and by their signature

I am rejecting this response because: the inspector verbally failed inspection while he was inspecting our deck and instructed us to fix prior to him returningThe company has been paid and is now trying to have me spend more money for there inferior quality in workmanshipThey haven’t a clue about the wake county inspectorsA simple phone call from there company and this could be verified but they simply choose to do nothing over a few screwsI will not withdraw my complaint nor my review on their company

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2016/11/11) */
First of all your contract states no deposits on refunds so the answer to a refund is noSecond it has not been months and this customer is exaggeratingHe placed an order for his building on 9/4/and we mailed out the contracts for his
signatureWe did not receive those signed contracts back until 5/3/16, months later!!! we can not do any work with out a signed contractThe concrete contract was given to the concrete crew on 5/6/and the concrete was poured on 7/15/The building has been in scheduling since that date and we have communicated with this customer the whole time and he was sent notification that they were behind due to the weatherHis building is already scheduled to be erected on Tuesday, November 15thSo this is redundant and makes no sense
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (2000, 7, 2016/11/15) */
(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
I refuse to respond in kind to the discourteous remarks made by the above The building has FINALLY been scheduledThat was all I asked for, Not a bunch of lies and BS excuses! Thank you Revdex.com!

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2016/09/16) */
No one has ever perpetrated our buildings as mother nature proof and that is a blatant lie. We can increase the roof load by adding a vertical roof or 12 gauge material or certifying a building but snow damage is not covered under any warranty...

implied. The frame warranty clearly states against rust since it is galvanized. There has never been any warranty against acts of god. Your homeowners should have covered this structure providing you had homeowners but im sure you didn't and your trying to get a company to give your money back. Please provide me a copy of the warranty you have showing we cover acts of god, there is no such thing or warranty with any company and that is why you purchase insurance. Sorry no refund.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2016/09/19) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
We had a clear verbal discussion about the snowfall and how much this building could sustain. I took your word for it when you stated that with the vertical roof, it could hold our Virginia snow. I would not have purchased this if it had not been for your verbal guarantee. This company is clearly not a company that stands by its products.
As you can see by the number of Complaints found online, I'm not the first person to have issues.
Final Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2016/09/21) */
The issues we have is by customers who want there building faster than it was promised and they have always received their building. That is none of your concern. You have your building and acts of god are not covered and no one here ever said they were. You have a contract so you need to read what is covered under your warranty and clearly acts of god are not. Because you did not acquire insurance for your building is not our fault and we never said we would cover any building in any state including Virginia. We do stand behind our buildings and if this was a covered issue or a warranty complaint we would take care of it like we always do. We do not promise anything verbally that is not in line with our warranties stated in our contracts.
Final Consumer Response /* (4200, 11, 2016/09/22) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Except that someone did assure me several times, that the building would hold Virginia snows without fail. It was your word. It was a verbal guarantee.
My insurance is not of your concern. I'm not sure why it keeps entering this conversation.
My hope is that consumers will always check the Revdex.com to find reputable companies that stand by their word.

has been called and scheduled

Keith C[redacted] does not own our business, Wayne B[redacted] does.Customer was told it would be the week of October 23 - 27th.  The building will be put up that week.

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2016/07/11) */
There is no where on any website or any advertising that promises any timeframe for installation. This is construction and sometimes there are setbacks and things out of our control and that is even in the contract that the customer signed. We...

do not give discounts for things out of our control and we hope to have this customers building up as soon as possible.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 8, 2016/07/13) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
The things you claim were out of your control was the fact that you were trying to schedule a building repair job for the same time frame as our building so you didn't have to make multiple trips to WV to save you money. This is what you explained to us on the phone as the time frame was explained to us on the phone when we paid the down payment. We should not have had to wait for our building to save your company money because they didn't want to make multiple trips out of state!

the customer has been contacted and has been scheduled

Have already addressed his complaints and have an open repair order in house to fix his building. When customer calls he needs to learn how to talk to people, when you cuss out the people trying to help you then you get hung up on. Threatningpeople here will cause us to completely void your contract...

and refuse to fix anything.Treat people the way you want to be treated. His building will be fixed asap.

I called and ordered a 24x30x8 metal building. 20ft of the 30 ft was to be carport and 10ft enclosed storage. The carport was supposed to have closed sides and an open front to drive the vehicles into for parking. So, of the 24x30 space 24x10 was enclosed with a roll up door, and the 24x20 section...

would have closed sides to block wind and rain from the sides. The sides of the carport were not installed. I called them and they said the sides were only meant to be closed at the enclosed storage section, not the carport. And they said "well thats not what your contract says. On the contract it just says closed sides and has a check mark beside it. It does not say at 10ft. It does say "ends closed" at 10ft. Yesterday when I called I was accused of trying to get something for free. I was disgusted.

I am rejecting this response because:I previously filed a complaint against Capitol Buildings about 6 weeks ago, they responded that the building install would be scheduled but I still have no progress can you please reopen the complaint. My name is [redacted]

doors are in the building, they were installed 9/21/17
