On April 4th I purchased a [redacted] from Mr Joseph Mat Patrick Cadillac in Schaumburg Illinois I am writing to you because I would hate for the next customer to go through my most recent experienceOn the date mentioned above, I had brought in my [redacted] with the sole intention of upgrading to a newer modelI was very happy and content with my model when I had first purchased it that I decided to go back when the time came for a newer car At the time of purchase I had specifically stated that I wanted everything in my current vehicle to remain but with the upgraded [redacted] That specifically included navigation, [redacted] radio, and DVD entertainment for rear passengersI was shown a SRX and was told that it had everything with the exception of DVD entertainmentAfter careful consideration, I decided that was something I could go without and continued on with the purchase The following day, I followed the instructions provided and set up my [redacted] account and asked for directionsDirections were "sent" to the vehicle but lo and behold, there was no map guidanceI looked up the information on this service and discovered that I had not gotten the navigation system I had expectedI called Joseph the very next day to voice my concernHe asked I come into the dealer to try and straighten everything out The following off day I had available I went back to the dealer, and was first offered year [redacted] package free of chargeI declinedHe then went to the general manager Enzo CostaHe then came back with an offer for the upgraded navigation system but with an added cost to me of $I had asked if it was going to be installed into the cue system with warranty and he confirmed yes, so I agreedWe set a date of April 23rd installation On the date of installation I brought the vehicle in early in the morningThe service department was unaware of the service that was arranged but efficiently set me up with a loaner car and promised to get it taken care of once Joseph arrived Later on that day, having not heard anything, I called the dealer to make sure everything was ok and for an estimated time of completionNo information was able to be provided and I was instructed to call back the following day but in the meantime, "Pete" was very helpful and had indicated that they had found a distortion on my screen and was also going to be fixing that issue as well as the installationThe following day I called back and Pete notified me that the service would unfortunately have to be carried over the weekend and will probably be done by either Monday or TuesdayHe then verified if I was ok in the current loaner vehicle and promised that either Joseph or he was to call me back as soon as the car was ready On Monday April 27th, Joseph called me back late afternoon to tell me that my car was ready for pick upI had arranged with him to pick up the vehicle the following day being that it was 5pm and I was headed downtown for a meetingI indicated I would be there by 4pm On April 28th at 4pm, I arrived at the dealer to retrieve my vehicleJoseph was on lunch and no one was sure of where my vehicle wasJoseph was called and within minutes arrived and my car was brought to the frontHe then proceeded to show me the system and to my surprise it was a navigation system but not the factory installed cue system navigationIt was [redacted] - aftermarket navigation systemI cannot stress how disappointed I was in the childlike interface appearance, and method of access to the system I was expecting the [redacted] with the operational "NAV" button to be used for access I realize I am a single customer and probably of no importance to you and that my single purchase would probably make no difference to the "bottom line" of your profit revenue but [redacted] has always been my definition of successFrom the time I was a little girl I had the idea in my mind that I wasn't "successful" until I obtained that dream carI felt that success, and I knew I had made it when I bought my 1st [redacted] I cannot state how disappointed I am in this experience and in this carI am saddened to say that I will no longer be purchasing any [redacted] nor will I ever do business with your company againI will also make sure everyone I come in contact with will hear my experience on this matter
