Review: We made a contract with Capitol Furniture for twin beds the day that the contract was sign was 3/12/2015 to be paid in 3 months on layaway. The finale pay day was 6/20/2015 for a total of 779.32 dollars but the Furniture did not deliver the bed in the dates agreed to they were going to deliver the beds in 2 months more we asked for a refund but the business will not give us the refund they have the money for the beds but we don't have any beds.Desired Settlement: All that we want from the business is the money we paid for the beds.

This is in reference to Mrs. [redacted]. She did initiate a lay-a-way in our store on 3/12/15 on a bunk bed with under storage trundle. (Item #[redacted]/bunk bed with under storage trundle) The lay-a-away was for 90 days. Our lay-a-way policy is that monthly payments are mandatory. Mrs. [redacted] skipped a payment for the month of April. She never called us to inform us that she would not be able to make Aprils payments. And we never brought it to her attention about the missed payment.Mrs. [redacted] paid off her lay-a-way on 6/20/15, it was on Saturday. So we were unable to verify stock with the furniture distributor, because they close on weekends.On Monday 6/22/15 we called the furniture distributor to check stock. Unfortunately the items she had placed on lay-a-way was out of stock. The furniture distributor told us it was going to take about 2-3 months or possibly sooner to get to get our store. We called Mrs. [redacted] to inform her about the status of her bunk bed. We offered to order the same bunk bed from a different company. The bunk bed was the same as she ordered, except for the handles. The one in stock the handles are silver finish and the bunk bed Mrs. [redacted] ordered the handles are the same finish as the bunk bed a dark solid finish. That's the only difference between two bunk beds. Mrs. [redacted] refused the bunk bed with silver handles. She told us she was willing to wait for the bunk bed she had initially put on lay-a-way, because she stated she liked the solid finish handles.We would call the furniture distributor every other week to check status. Until they finally told us we would have the bunk bed shipped to our store on 8/21/15. So we will be delivering for Mrs. [redacted] on 8/22/15.Capitol Furniture is not in any way trying to keep the customers money. We went by teh customers agreement, that she would be willing to wait 2-3 months for the bunk bed she originally ordered. I feel that we did our best in our power to please the customer by ordering the bunk bed from a different company. But she refused.Thank you for your attention as I know your time is very valuable. I am rejecting this response because: They didnt follow the requirements that they offer on the lay away agreement . And all that they say on the message I know and I don't care all I want is my money back .

Company states: We had offered to change out the item. The consumer then told us that they wanted to wait for their bed. The item she ordered is available. She then changed her mind. It is in our contract that we are not able to refund the money.

Review: My husband and I purchased a Mattress from Capitol Furniture on March 21, 2014 (but we recieved it days after due to it not being in stock) almost 2weeks ago my husband sat on the bed and we heard a spring pop and being unfamiliar with this we just thought it was normal but now the side that we heard the spring pop is caving. I called the furniture store on sunday and I just got a call today telling me they will call me back monday to tell me when they will pick up my mattress to see what the manufacturer can do. So they don't have a lender mattress and they won't just replace it meaning both my husband and I would have to sleep on the floor. My husband has savior back problems the whole reason we bought a new mattress in the first place. We shouldn't be going thru this we just spend $600 on this new mattress that has 20yr warranty. The furniture store should stand by their customers and avoid us the backache. I don't want a refubished mattress, I dont want to wait over a month to hear from the manufacture to see if they'll help us and I don't want a repaired mattress.Desired Settlement: I want them to GIVE US A NEW MATTRESS or GIVE US OUR MONEY BACK.

We received the complaint that the customer's mattress was sinking in. We let her know that there was a process we needed to follow since we are not the manufacturers of the mattress. We must pick up the mattress and send it back to the manufacturer which is Kingdom Enterprise Inc. Kingdom mattress will then repair the damage.

I am rejecting this response because: this was suppose to be a NEW MATTRESS. I shouldn't be going thru this or sleeping on a refurnished mattress their on after. I paid for a new one not otherwise.

If I turn my mattress in that mean both my husband and I will be sleeping on the grown. He has savior back problems (dislocated disks) & so do I (prior work injury) in witch are getting worse after sleeping on this mattress as long as I have with this issue.
