Review: I brought my Kirby Vacuum cleaner in to have the bearings cleaned and packed with grease on Mon Oct 12. I picked up a Kirby on Tue Oct 13, and on that evening I noticed a difference on the machine and on further inspection I discovered it wasn't my Kirby Classic Omega that I used to own for 40 years!! 8( I'm positive it is not my Machine! The brush roller is a different color, the fan is a different color, the fan chamber casting is not the same color aluminum as the motor housing's aluminum casting that it is attached to!! The two adjoining/touching aluminum castings have different origins and ages! The fan chamber casting DOES NOT CORRECTLY FIT on the motor housing casting, and this is unrefutable evidence that the castings' have come from different year Kirby productions and or models! I was in the kirby business in the 70's, and I know what I'm talking about. I am so upset. I feel very betrayed. I returned the Kirby Wed Oct 14 and I heard a lot of silly excuses and much deceit with major run around. I believe that my Kirbys' parts will be buffed and polished and made into a cherry used Kirby and sold. They have about 12 used cherry old Kirbys' for sale.Desired Settlement: I want My Kirby back. He said I need pictures of my kirby vacuum from before! Who would do that?! Capitol Kirby must replace the cobbled together from old boneyard parts that they substituted for my Kirby Classic Omega. This includes a motor housing and fan chamber casting that match, and a non worn out nozzle. The Kirby they gave me has a very loose fitting nozzle! This nozzle casting is worn out, and the loose fit will lower the nozzle's suction! Thank you Revdex.com!
