This company installed the tile, wood and cork flooring throughout my homeAfter living in the home for a few months, I noticed problemsFirst, the tile was NOT sealedWhen I told the owner, he explained that sealing the tile was not part of the bid, but I was not aware of this when I signed a contractIt still remains unsealed The cork floor separated and his attempts to make this better only made it worse The wood flooring has deep scratches and doesn't fit properly around the exterior doorsHe tried to fix this by putting a marker on the floor but that wore off after a couple of months He also did work in the home totaling about $that I did not authorize, such as cleaningI had already hired a cleaning service and did not appreciate him trying to make extra money off of me without my approvalI would have rather he had sealed my tile His math did not add up when ordering suppliesI now have an excess of about 2k in materials that the flooring company will not take back
This was one of the nicest jobs we have ever installed. And the pictures of the master shower are amazing. I am sorry for the loss of your husband firstly. As a short review. Yes we touched up the pre-engineered floor with a marker after your builder trashed the floor and scratched it everywhere. About the expansion we came back to fix it but the builder refused to have the cork floor glued down or transitions installed. The cold air by the door is separating the wood where the hall is connected. Happy to add transitions as a change order. The tile was designed to go up the countertops and your builder once again ordered the product. Product that could not be returned then the design was changed and yes there is a lot of product left over. If you want us to insure your product it needs to be ordered through our company not a 3rd party to save on costs. We came back for touchups several times, so no I am not interested in sealing the tile. I believe we wanted .50 cents per sq ft but the builder refused to have it on the contract. Basically if you hire us you will absolutely get a lot of customer service but like you can see from the above it is now very hard to contract with us as crafstmen through a local builder. Lastly this post was pulled off the bbb and is like 15 years old and is why the file can’t be found on the bbb any longer. How do they even get posts that are so old they are not on file. If you want pictures of this job you can contact me and or look for the amazing 13’x5’ custom green glass tile install we have on our Facebook page. It’s a very old post about how amazing our work was for this client. Once again I am sorry for your loss. Every time I read this post it give me incentive to talk with my kids when they were in the womb. Joseph Tozer 719-332-8848
This company installed the tile, wood and cork flooring throughout my home. After living in the home for a few months, I noticed problems. First, the tile was NOT sealed. When I told the owner, he explained that sealing the tile was not part of the bid, but I was not aware of this when I signed a contract. It still remains unsealed.
The cork floor separated and his attempts to make this better only made it worse.
The wood flooring has deep scratches and doesn't fit properly around the exterior doors. He tried to fix this by putting a marker on the floor but that wore off after a couple of months.
He also did work in the home totaling about $1000 that I did not authorize, such as cleaning. I had already hired a cleaning service and did not appreciate him trying to make extra money off of me without my approval. I would have rather he had sealed my tile .
His math did not add up when ordering supplies. I now have an excess of about 2k in materials that the flooring company will not take back.
Your welcome! Call for a free bid today!
I pulled up the pictures from this job in 2013. Even back then we did great work!
