This company installed the tile, wood and cork flooring throughout my homeAfter living in the home for a few months, I noticed problemsFirst, the tile was NOT sealedWhen I told the owner, he explained that sealing the tile was not part of the bid, but I was not aware of this when I signed a contractIt still remains unsealed The cork floor separated and his attempts to make this better only made it worse The wood flooring has deep scratches and doesn't fit properly around the exterior doorsHe tried to fix this by putting a marker on the floor but that wore off after a couple of months He also did work in the home totaling about $that I did not authorize, such as cleaningI had already hired a cleaning service and did not appreciate him trying to make extra money off of me without my approvalI would have rather he had sealed my tile His math did not add up when ordering suppliesI now have an excess of about 2k in materials that the flooring company will not take back
This company installed the tile, wood and cork flooring throughout my home. After living in the home for a few months, I noticed problems. First, the tile was NOT sealed. When I told the owner, he explained that sealing the tile was not part of the bid, but I was not aware of this when I signed a contract. It still remains unsealed.
The cork floor separated and his attempts to make this better only made it worse.
The wood flooring has deep scratches and doesn't fit properly around the exterior doors. He tried to fix this by putting a marker on the floor but that wore off after a couple of months.
He also did work in the home totaling about $1000 that I did not authorize, such as cleaning. I had already hired a cleaning service and did not appreciate him trying to make extra money off of me without my approval. I would have rather he had sealed my tile .
His math did not add up when ordering supplies. I now have an excess of about 2k in materials that the flooring company will not take back.
