Review: I went to [redacted] Radiology aka Capitol Radiology last April 2012 for a Mammogram. At the time of service I was told that I would need to pay $450.00 to cover the cost of the mammogram as I had not yet met my deductible. I was furious and upset at the same time however I paid the $450.00 because I felt I did not have a choice being that I was not sure if the lump I found in my breast was cancerous or not. When I receieved the Explanation of Benefits from my insurance carrier I did not look it over closely since I paid for the service out of my pocket. I recently contact my insurance provider to find out if I would incur another $450.00 fee for my mammogram this year. I was informed that I over paid for my mammogram last year my out of pocket expense was only $49.31. I was shocked that no one from [redacted] Radiology aka Capitol Radiology contacted me regarding my refund. This happeded last April 2013 and it's now October 2013. I contacted [redacted] Radiology on 10/24, 10/25 & 10/28 and still have not receievd my refund of $400.69.Desired Settlement: I have supporting documentation that I can provide the company if need be. I just want my money back plain and simple. I should not have to contact the company. When they received the Explanation of Benefits from my insurance company last April 2012 they should have contacted me or sent me a check in the mail. Every time I call I get the run around. No one is available so I leave messages with no call back. I am furious.

Base on the information that was provided to you from [redacted] was somewhat correct. We were cleaning up refunds from 2012 however due to a department change in staff in January and March of 2013. We are just getting back to processing the remaining refunds for 2012 and 2013. Please excuse our time frame on [redacted] refund however her refund was processed on October 30th 2013 in the amount of $404. 97 back to her credit card. [redacted] was advised on the 30th of her refund because she had to provider her credit number for final processing.

I did receive a refund from [redacted] Radiology as noted in the letter. Thank you for looking into this issue on my behalf. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
