I'm not complaining about their work, as that seems sound, but I will recommend that you go somewhere else if you don't want to be price-gouged
I had them recommend replacing the transmission cooler lines and they quoted me $for parts and laborI just got my truck back from a local repair shop (Ryan's Automotive on North Bend Rd) who charged me $to replace the lines
My advice: save yourself some money and go someplace else
Went in to the Englewood, Ohio Midas to have my Ford Ranger's oil changed and tires rotated for the deal they have going on for exactly that, dropped off the vehicle and they told me they'd call when it's ready hours later I call them to check on it and they said its ready to be picked upSo I walk to pick it up and they tell me to bring it in Monday because they replaced the oil but were out of stock of filters They didn't care to tell me this until afterThen when I get home I realize the tires haven't been rotated eitherThis shop is a bunch of scamming jokes
My work truck needed ball joints and mounting brackets installedI took it to the Chillicothe, Ohio LocationThey discounted the price for me as much as they could and worked real late to complete the install so I could have my work truck for the next day! They were Very Professional and I would defiantly recommend them!
I went into Midas (in Chillicothe Ohio) to have my brakes checked out, I was greeted by a very nice lady later learning it was the manager The place was very clean and organized, the bathroom was exceptionally clean *** the manager introduced me to my tech *** and showed my my brakes and gave me a price which I found to be cheaper than anyone in Chillicothe and they warranty their work and parts!!! I dont think I have ever been treated so good, there was fresh coffee for everyone, plenty of reading materials and good conversation The manager I felt went was beyond the duty of a manager *** really made me feel like she appreciated my business and everyone else there I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS MIDAS IN CHILLICOTHE OHIO TO EVERYONE!!!
I went to the Stow Oh Midas because my Jeep was feeling laggy, like occasional acceleration problemThe engine light was also on (osensors) They did the diagnostic test and said I was looking at about $for repairsI really did not want to pay that and should have got a second opinion but I was in a hurry to move hours away and just told them to do itThey also replaced part of my muffler for an extra $The car felt wonderful when I drove away but less than weeks later it's really loud again and the acceleration problem seems worseI'm worried I was taken advantage of for being a clueless woman you knowI want it looked at again but can't afford anymore charges, I wonder if Midas will help resolve this fairly or if I should go somewhere elseThe closest Midas to me now is a half hour away

I've been going to Midas in Chillicothe ohio for years always so nice and polite but today was exceptional the manager [redacted] met me at my car was so polite and nice, the place is very clean and they honestly are all about customer service. Thank you so much this is why we choose Midas. Excellent
I went to Midas today no appointment and was happily greeted at the door by a very nice lady. I needed an oil change she got me right in. The place looked great very clean . I was asked to go out to my car for a walk around the manager [redacted] and the tech explained to me that my pads were getting close to replacing, they told me that the next oIL change they would look again and replace them for me for only 167 a price that I felt was very reasonable. I will be coming back. [redacted] walked us to the door even. Great customer service. Great pricing

I posted the previous complaint. Since then I have been contacted by a Midas representative. They admitted to a simple mistake in the billing. This issue has been corrected and handled in a professional manner.
Midas in Pickerington, Ohio. I wouldn't let them work on my kids bicycle!!!! Attempted to change oil and a radiator hose in a Mini Cooper. Here's how this dibocle played out.
1. Oil change and hose- ends in oil leaking all over the garage.
2. Screws in the oil pan.... Duh
3. Temp gauge never goes off so radiator goes dry, over heats heater blows, oil turns to goo, therm casing breaks..... Because you guessed it radiator was never fixed! Midas wants to charge me 650+ for this repair. I get a little feisty and the price goes down.
4. On the way home, after THEY gave it NOT ME I notice now speedometer doesn't work, ABS light on and airbag light on.
5. Yes, this is trip 5 for an oil change and hose! Midas tells me they want a diagnostic fee to figure out what THEY obviously unplugged in their ventures under my hood. Either that or this is revenge because I complained, I can't figure out which.
I went to Midas in Stow, OH for a serpentine belt and my car overheating. They replaced the belt without a hitch. However, the told me that I needed a whole new radiator, new hoses, and $2,000 worth of work just to get my car running correctly again. (This was over two days. The first day was the belt, then I discovered the overheating, five minutes from the store) They also told me that I had no oil in my car, when the day before they said I had, along with other minor issues that apparently went wrong in less than 24 hours. When my husband told them that we were not willing to put that amount of money into the car, they dropped the price to $1,200, then again to $750 when I still refused. (The car will not pass e-check). When my husband than called them again to tell them we are taking the car to get a second opinion, they haggled with him that they could take more off and then got snooty when my husband still said we were taking it somewhere else and that we will be there in 10 minutes and to have it off the lift. Once we arrived, he proceeded to show me where my hoses leaked. The second opinion I got said I only needed a new radiator cap and a new hose and quoted me $200. I can see why Midas didn't want us to get the second opinion.
