Our Termite Renewal letters clearly state to call the office for your yearly inspection. I was not aware of the complainant calling prior to my many phone calls and left messages for her to renew her policy for the year 2104. Our Termite Treatment Policy also states that the renewal is to be...

paid annually in advance prior to the expiration date. It is not our company policy to call and schedule appointments for termite customers to renew their policy. The complainant did however have coverage for the year 2013, meaning that if she was to call for an inspection or termite problem she was covered, to my knowledge our office never received a phone call for either of these things from her. This is an insurance policy for termite control, meaning if you pay your yearly renewal you are covered for termite control should it be warranted. It's just like car insurance, you do not receive a refund from them if its not used within the year. During our conversation I  did apologize to her concerning her situation for the prior year. I also explained that her policy had expired but we were giving her the chance to renew it anyway. I told her that if she wanted to make an appointment for an inspection she would have to pay the premium at the time of service. She did not want to pay and starting getting very irate and argumentive with me. I did not want to partake in the argument so I did inform her that I was ending the phone call. When she called back and asked to speak with someone else I told her no one was here but I would relay her message to the Termite Manager. I did get in contact with him and he told me the same thing, if she wants the inspection its payment at time of service. I did relay this to her when she called back and that answer wasn't good enough for her and she continued to call and harass me , she even threatened to come up and take care of me. I was not answering her phone calls because I am the only one here and had other phone lines ringing and didn't feel I had to put up with her harassment. With all that said if she wants to continue her services that is fine but she needs to send in payment for this years renewal and our company will gladly send out a technician to inspect her property. I am only going by company policy which has been in place for many years.
Thank you

Review: I made a payment to Capitol Tec in 2013 for follow up of a termite problem. They never contacted me to come out to my home and I failed to make an appointment. In April 2014, I received a letter to pay another payment for 2014. I called the office and advised that I never received the service call for 2013, and I was advised that a service rep would contact me to make an appointment. However, when he did he advised me that the ground was still frozen and I would have to reschedule my appointment. In the meantime I received a call from the office manager that it was time to make my payment for 2014. I advised her of the situation and was told in so many words that this was my problem, that I should have made an appointment to have the service completed. I do understand that I was negligent in not calling sooner, but I fail to see why I should not either receive a refund for services never rendered or have the inspection completed. This office manager, Patti, was extremely rude to me and told me she didn't have time to call people to make appointments. Then she hung up on me. When I called back to speak to someone else, I was told that she was the only person I could speak with and that I was out of luck. She refused to give me her name and hung up again. When I called back she just let the phone ring. I had to call on my cell phone to get an answer and that was the only way to get her name. All I would like is to receive the service I paid for or a refund. I sincerely hope you can help with this situation. Thanking you in advance.Desired Settlement: I would just like to receive the services I paid for and maybe keep this women from being so rude in the future to another customer.
