Review: The transmission for my car ([redacted]) was rebuilt in January 2013 with a three-year (or 100,000 miles) warranty. I have been experiencing problems with the transmission over the past three months and took the car back to Capitol Transmission about the second week in July 2013 for inspection.I was told by the general manager that they could not find anything wrong.The transmission issue was however, confirmed by an independent reputable auto repair garage in **.I brought the car back to Capitol Transmission on 8/6/2013 at which point the transmission problem was confirmed by a resident transmission rebuilder/technician.[redacted], who at the time was running the shop in the absence of [redacted], instructed me to return the car on Friday, August 09, 2013 and I would be given a loaner car and that they would start the repairs the following Monday. Since the problem was serious, I decided to rent a car at my own expense for until that FridayI called [redacted] at Capitol Transmission on Friday, August 09, 2013 to confirm the appointment. I was rather mystified when Mr. [redacted] decided to default on his promise without any prior warning.About 4:30 pm on 8/9/13, I went Capitol Transmission to get a better understanding of the reason why Mr. [redacted] decided not to accept my car for repairs. Instead, I was greeted with profound and surprise hostility by Mr.[redacted].At the end, Mr. [redacted] decided not to repair the transmission that his company rebuilt on January 2013 with a three-year warranty despite by very long daily commute and daily need for a car.

Mr. [redacted] has an appointment on Monday, August 19th to drop the vehicle off and have it repaired for free under warranty. Please remind him of this obligation. We have never in the 80 years of our business refused to cover a warranty issue. His getting a loaner car was his choice as his car was making a noise, but was drivable until his appointment. Mr. [redacted] was actually the one who acted hostile, such that we had to contact the police. The case number is [redacted] with the [redacted] Police Dept. It is unfortunate that he caused such a disturbance and felt the need to contact the Revdex.com. If he decides to keep the agreed upon original appointment on Monday the 19th, all his warranty needs will be met. Thank You

I accept that the company offer to repair the transmission of my car. However, compensation for the cost of a rental car is still being decided by the company.

Fixed customer's car under warranty like we had said we would. Gave him a loaner to use free of charge while we fixed it. Reimbursed him $ 200 for the loaner he got from the rental place (even though we didn't tell him to do that). He said he would remove this complaint with the Revdex.com.
