Capri Apartments

Review: I'm an international student from brazil who got an internship at UCSB over the summer and rented an apartment with capriIV. My lease ended on August 31th (2014) so I should be receiving my security deposit by september. So on this date I called them and they told me I should get my money by Sept 22th, on the 24th I called them again asking what happened and they told me they had an issue with my account and I should send them a copy of my receipts because under they system I haven't paid a month, so I sent them and waited. After 2 weeks I didn't receive any further information, so I decided to called again, this time the manager told me they were taking care of my case and I should me patient cause the will contact me soon if I had any further questions I should email her. So waited more, and emailed her, I've sent to CapriIV a total of 6 emails at least only got ONE answer last week.I also tried to call other several times and it always the same thing : "You have to be patient we are taking care of this, there is no much more I can do". They NEVER called me trying to resolve this, they NEVER sent me an email, and they NEVER say anything about money (when you can finally talk to manager over the phone).Desired Settlement: I just want my money back as soon as possible.

Review: On the 14th of October, 2013, I was informed by a prospective apartment complex in Fairfield,Ohio that a balance of 678$ was on my credit report from Capri Apartments located in Isla Vista/Santa Barbara, Caifornia. I have never lived in these apartments, nor have I ever been notified of a delinquent account with them. If it wasn't for my application to this apartment complex in Ohio, I would have still never known of this balance with Capri Apartments. When I contacted Capri apartments, the manager (who's name was not given) refused to give me any information (i.e, what the charges were for, when my account became delinquent, why I was never contacted, etc.). All he gave me was the name of the collection agency in which they work through. I attempted to contact the collection agency (Southern Management Systems) and was unsure of their contact information. I have tried to contact the manager of Capri Apartments several times leaving voice mails, and I still have no received a call back. Eventually, I got through to my acct manager at Southern Management Systems, and he was extremely rude and unhelpful (Robert Weever). I was NEVER ONCE notified by email, mail, or phone about these "charges" that are now effecting my credit score.Desired Settlement: I would like the charges and delinquent status dropped immediately, and my credit to be re-established without these false charges. Also, I need a letter from either Capri Apartments and/or Southern Management systems that these charges are in fact incorrect and will be dismissed immediately. Without this letter, I will be unable to move into my apartment in Ohio, and this apartment is extremely necessary and urgent. Without this apartment, I will have to live out of my car. So this is urgent.
