Capristo Hair Salon And Day Spa

Review: I purchased a Groupon in December 2012 as a gift for my sister, Erika Suhy. She was given the gift on Christmas from me. The Groupon was for "Capristo Salon and Wellness Spa Purchased: Dec 1, 2012 $55 for a Spa Package with a Swedish Massage and Custom Facial at Capristo Salon and Wellness Spa ($122.50 Value)"I paid the $55 for the Groupon as chose it as a gift. She/I have tried since January to make an appointment to redeem for this service. She was told there was nothing available until at least May. She finally got an appointment in June - made arrangements for her daughter and went to the appointment (which was a 30 minute drive!) - when she arrived at the salon she was told she would need to reschedule as there was no one there to perform the service she was booked for! Not only did she reschedule - but this same sceanrio with your salon has happened to her 3 times now - the last one occuring for an appointment today!How can you "the salon" schedule an appointment for someone - not call them in advance to say there was a problem with the service - and then when they arrive tell them there is no one there to perform the service! This is absolutely unacceptable. I have a $55 Groupon for services that you basically will not redeem - you basically have stolen $55 of my money and not perform the services that I have paid in advance for!Desired Settlement: I desire a refund to be issued to me immediately in the form of $55 cash for the Groupon that you will not and refuse to honor! If you need to contact me or need proof of the purchase I would be happy to do that as well!

Yes, I have also contacted Groupon in regard to the matter; however, the only email response I have received from them (2 days ago) was that they would contact the business on my behalf. I have received no resolution and I have not spoken with anyone from Groupon directly. They have my contact info. I have resolved nothing thus far - and I have already spoken direclty with the company - they continue to want to try and schedule an appointment - but I have already done this 3 times with them - and show up for the appointment and then they proceed to say there is no one there to perform the service (that they scheduled!).
