The first complaint states that I did not back fill an area of the repaired wall and instead stacked a pile of rocks and stones in the area. This is true. I had some flagstone leftover from the repaired wall and put 6-of them behind the
wall. Its not like there was a crater left behind the wall And this was not an immediate complaint. She inspected the work after completion and this was not an issue. It became an issue a season later when I was to come back and address complaint number
The second complaint states that I did not regrade a specified area to her satisfaction. Before work begun, we had discussed and agreed upon certain criteria for the regrading phase. Once the work was completed, the customer was not happy with how it turned out, so asked if I could remove more soil. I agreed, but being that it was the second week of November, suggested that we wait until spring to complete any further work. She agreed, and things were good.
Come spring time, the customer was in need of lawn care maintenance and I agreed to cut her lawn. The customer had multiple complaints about the way I did things. I met some of her needs and tried to meet others, but came to the realization that there would be no pleasing this customer. Because of her complaints, this realization, and a booked schedule, I decided to postpone removing more soil as we discussed in the fall. I did schedule a day with the customer to come and complete the additional work, but instead chose not to complete the work as discussed. The customer did not pay me for the three grass cuttings. She owed me a total of $75. I told the customer to keep the $and find somebody else to complete the additional work.
I do try hard to satisfy my customers and I regret the way things played out. Due to unusual circumstances, this customer was left unsatisfied. I think both the customer and myself are guilty of bad business, but I should not be pinned as the bad guy

*** never offered to regrade the area mentioned. Inaddition, he told me I only owed him $50, not $75, for cutting the grass, as he admitted that he did a terrible job, as he did not use that appropriate equipment for a smaller yard such as mine. His mower was basically for larger, commercial properties. Hos mower was actually destroying much of my yard

Review: In the fall of 2013 I hired [redacted] from Capscape Lawn Care & Landscaping todo 2 projects. The first was to rebuild a retaining wall, using my existing stones. Theattached email gives the details of that job. The total for the job was $476.00, and Imade a down payment for the amount of $225.00 on 10/5/13 (receipt attached). TheContract/Invoice is also attached.[redacted] did rebuild the wall. However, in one area above the wall, he did not backfill withdirt, but merely stacked a pile of rocks and stones in that area. When I asked him whatthat was all about, and he told me that I could fill it with dirt if I wanted to. I hadexplained to him that I wanted to do some plantings above the wall, so I would haveneeded dirt to accomplish that. That was my first complaint. The second complaint involves another project that I asked him to do that was adjacentto the wail. This is listed as Phase 2 on the attached Invoice for the amount of $300.00.The project involved removing some old roots from previously cut down shrubs, removing a very small retaining wall in one section, re-grading that area to my specificinstructions, adding a border of landscape timbers, adding dirt (if needed), and plantinggrass seed. He did all of this work while I was at work, so I did not see anything until ithad already been completed. When I saw how he had re-graded the area, I told himthat it was not at all what I had explained to him and that I was not satisfied with theresults. Actually, I had asked him to mirror the grading of the area that existed on theopposite side of the driveway, which is basically a flat area with a slight downwardslope. Instead, he created a rather large hill in one section. I told him immediately that Iwanted it re-done. This occurred in November, and he said he wouldn’t be able tocomplete it at that time, but he promised to return in the spring to re-do the area for me.I paid him in full for both projects on 11/9/13, in the amount of $550.00.The spring came and went and now it’s summer. After multiple phone calls, I was finallyable to contact him and he promised that he would return on June 271h to complete thework. Desired Settlement: We agreed upon that date because I told him I was going to be home that dayand wanted io supervise the job.He send me an email on June 26th stating that he would not be returning the followingday to complete the job; that he was busy with his commercial projects, and that Ishould find someone else to finish it.His website states “our primary focus is customer satisfaction.” I am definitely notsatisfied.
