Capstone Concrete, LLC Reviews (2)

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.][redacted] from Capstone Concrete LLC did not inform me of how much compensation for removal of cement was prior to him removing all the cement slabs. [redacted] had informed me he would not be responsible for the damaged slabs and stated he was only responsible for the incorrectly poured slabs which is 10 ft. From my understanding, because [redacted] had stated he was not responsible for the damaged slabs, [redacted] was not going to remove or replace damaged slabs. He had mentioned in a text prior to tearing up the concrete that, "Regardless, I'll take care of it," but no pricing or compensation had been mentioned or agreed upon prior to [redacted] tearing up the slabs. Through text messages, [redacted] from Capstone Concrete LLC was going to stop by and measure the concrete he had poured, but he also mentioned he would take a look at the damaged slabs; he never mentioned to me or informed me that he would be tearing up the damaged concrete. [redacted] from Capstone Concrete LLC stopped by on 07/23/2017 while I was not home, again from what I understood, this was to measure height and look at damaged slabs, but I came home to him already tearing up the incorrectly poured slabs he was responsible for, as well as the damaged slabs, which he did not inform me he would be doing. Compensation was asked by [redacted] on 08/08/2017, weeks after Capstone Concrete LLC had already removed all the damaged and incorrectly poured slabs without consulting the pricing with me prior. I feel I should not be responsible for compensating Capstone Concrete LLC for the removal and repouring of the slabs [redacted] had incorrectly poured, nor the removal of the damaged slabs because compensation was not discussed prior to removal of the damaged slabs. Because it has been almost a month and Capstone Concrete LLC has not completed their job in repouring the concrete for the slabs they are responsible for, and because I had hired Capstone Concrete LLC to pour my sidewalk on 04/19/2017 and have had multiple issues with Capstone Concrete LLC completing this job in a timely manner (Capstone Concrete completed the job on 6/26/2017), I am requesting a refund for the slabs they are responsible for, which is 10 ft of the sidewalk so I may hire another contractor who will be able to complete the rest of my sidewalk in a timely manner.
Regards,
[redacted]

Company states that they would repair the part that they were at fault for, but the consumer had a friend who damaged the sidewalk, and the consumer wanted them to fix for free. The company advised that they are not responsible for the parts that experienced issues because his friend damaged it....

They told the consumer that they would need to be compensated for the removal of the cement.
