Review: we had our chimney serviced on 7/*/2014 the day we moved into our home...we were told after all the cleaning and cap that was put on chimney the fireplace was "safe" to use and we were go to go.

Around late october we noticed an ash smell in the house when we used the fireplace...we called the company they just told us not to use it and someone would stop by when they could but they are busy now. We then contacted other chimney inspectors and they all agreed on 1 thing" the chimney as it stood was NOT safe to use and should never have been passed "to use", and the cap put on the chimney is NOT correct for our application"

we have 3 small children in the home and are very concerned over their work and inspection methods!Desired Settlement: want to know why they passed there work on our chimney as "Safe"...and to re-evaluate their work that they did...at no cost to us...we did pay them as agreed with no questions asked since we do not no better nor are we qualified to pass a chimney for use as they are...
