Review: False Advertisement, this company advertise this car at $3,999.00, they never told the bank that I did a trade in, and they gave me $2,500.00 for my 2002 Gmc Envoy, This amount was never put towards the $3,999.00 that they wanted for the car, I have all ads to prove and paperwork, now the bank is claiming that I owe them $15,000.00 for a care advertised for $3,999.00, and the bank claims that they don't see any credit for the $2,500.00 for my trade in; this is deceptive practice, and fraudulent concealment, and a violation of NYS Lemon Law, a violation of Title 18 U.S.C. chapter 31: Sec.641, Chapter 49: Sec.1001, Chapter 47: Sec.1006, Chapter 95: Sec. 1956, 1957 and 1960. No remedy was offered to me so I can return the car or a full refund, instead they give me the run around, their acts are criminal and I would like this matter brought to the Attorney General office immediately.Desired Settlement: I request to turn in the car for a full refund and compensation for all the insurance payment made, all my gas money spent, all the repairs I paid out pocket for when they were to take care of all of this and a validation of Debt (VOD), the GAAP, showing the accounting principle of this transaction.

Review: I purchased a 2006 Lexus GS in Aug 2013. Listed price online was 7,900. I was told by "Joe" (probably an alias) that this was the financing price, not the cash price. Before paying he went through a big pitch about special financing but never produced a document with a total value printed on it; All I have written is the loan agreement, which said I was to pay $400/ mon. I later found out the bank had me down as owing $25,000.00!

When I told him what Westlake bank had me down as owing he said that's not the real price. He told me on the 13th month I'd be able to pay the balance, which he said would be $3700 and the car was mine. The total I would have paid was to be around $13,000.00. Much higher than the $7,900'the car was listed for, but I was still satisfied at the time.

One year passes, and on the 15th month I went to Joe to pay off my car. This was after me calling him for 2 months and him dodging me. He claimed the special financing program ended and that he'd search other banks. I went to Brooklyn on several occasions just to get the runaround. One time he filled out a refinance form for me with a bank, said it was approved and that all I had to do is call for them to take care of the rest of the refinance. I did call. When I gave them my mileage (115,000) they said I had too many miles to qualify!

Im disgusted with Joe and this company, but this was not all. Joe also told me he knew insurance underwriters and that for a fee ($500) I can get locked into a low insurance program. This was within my year. Before I knew these guys were [redacted]. Long story short, my insurance was canceled 3 times and I had to pay the penalties ($350) Later, I realized he put a different address for me. He later told me he did not know, and a business associate was in charge of the insurance branch of the business.

Now it's October 2015, I've been paying $400/min for 2 years, still owe $9,000.00 and I have a lawyer. I'm looking for others who were scammed by these crooks. The company is still there and they are able to keep this scam going. Please reach out if you are currently, or were a victim in the past.Desired Settlement: After reading so many complaints, justice. I'd like to be in contact with others who have been scammed by these crooks. They should go to jail if everyone is not compensated. Personally, I'd be happy if what the bank says I owe were satisfied.

Review: They sold me a '07 Nissan Altima for $6000 at the dealership and told me that they only finance through westlake financial services. After trading in my car to pay off the taxes and fees, I was told to make payments to westlake for one year before they would handle the refinancing through another bank. Westlake lists the car as being $10,000, almost double the agreed upon price. Car Approval Corp has since changed their location and phone numbers so I have been unable to get in contact with them.Desired Settlement: I am looking for a way to avoid paying more than the original agreed upon price that I signed for.

Review: First of all I was very excited to buy a new car, searching online I found a dealer that was offering what I was looking for.

It fitted my budget, so I visited. The dealer in Brooklyn at [redacted]

Where I was helped by mike" who sold me a 2007 bmw witch according to mike had never been in any accident he also offer me to built my credit within six months, he promise to do some work on the car after 30 days when car warranty kick in, everything was a lie. I recently find out whe I went to trade in my bmw,I was told that the car had been into a major accident. I have spent a lot of money on repairings I need to get justice on this fraud.Desired Settlement: I'll be happy with a fair justice.

Review: I broth this car and I did not know that the car was in two major accident. They did not give me a car fax know am not paying for the car because the lone is more than the car is worth. I try to trade and at that time is when I learn that the car was in a accident. know the evaluation of the vehicle is $700.00 and the lone is for $13.000Desired Settlement: give me the vehicle for the price it worth.

Review: My company purchased a vehicle from Car Approval Corp we sent a cashiers check to them in the amount of 62,134.27 on 06/**/14 for a BMW 2014 X5 Vin#[redacted] and an additional 2,500.00 on 07/**/14 by a bank wire transfer to have the vehicle shipped to us. We have been given the run around until now that funds will be paid back. Even to the extent of sending a notarized letter promising to pay. Unfortunately they have failed to do so. It has been far too long and we need to get this matter resolved. I have made several attempts to reach an owner and they have on numerous occasions put different men on the phone with different names claiming to be the owner and stating that they need to speak to their partners to see how they can resolve this matter. People whom have claimed to be [redacted] ([redacted]) have not made any attempt to send our money back. It was easy for them to receive it what is so difficult with sending it back. It seems as though there is very little hope with getting our money back. How could New York allow this type of business to operate. What kind of scams are they allowing. Mind you this is not 100.00 or 1,000.00 dollars that we are talking about. it totals nearly 65,000.00 dollars. I in the past have had an encounter with the Revdex.com in CA and they made sure that we paid what we owed. I am hoping that you, too can help.Desired Settlement: We ask that Car Approval Corp Pay back all funds owed to us immediately. $64,634.27.

Review: The company had given me a written Rider contract promising to refinance a loan on a vehicle. I have met all the terms of the refinance and although it does not seem as though they are not willing to refinance, They say that they will but continue to not answer the phone or return my calls. I have struggled to contact them many times over the past year.Desired Settlement: Just return my calls and proceed with the agreed refinance

Review: This company is a crook. I applied for warranty for my 2006 Jeep Liberty on 2/*/15. First of all the type of warranty the person named Jo (also known as Steve) advised me he was selling me was a lie. For all three times I met with him, he was talking about a life time warranty (Wynn warranty) that did not exist - for which I only had to pay one time (of $1500) for the life time of the vehicle (Exhibit 1). In addition the warranty was transferable to another vehicle if need be . But the actual warranty he sold me (via contract) was for 24 months which was ok (Exhibit 2). Bare in mind that he was adamant about being paid in cash because he did not want to mix the 2 businesses (Exhibit 3). Apparently the business was with Vehicle Protection Plus Administrator. I called VPPA in April to confirm that my contract was active. They have advised me that my contract was active in a pending status because payment was never received. I found that strange because I made a payment in cash on 2/*/15 (Exhibit 4). I have been calling this crook Jo and no response. Ok, so I was able to get this Jo's (aka Steve) number and he has been given me the round around as I expected (since March until now). When I first spoke to him, he advised that the company has been shut down by DMV but will be resuming services under another business name, interesting (Exhibit 5). Additionally. he said the money was sent so he said that he would request my money back as I requested. He says he has other customers who is not too happy with him either (not surprised!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!). He told me to give him up until 5/** to get my money back......Of course I did not hear from him. Every time I call he gives me another excuses...I spoke with him 2 days ago and he said that I know that I have been given you the run around but I was short on the money, I should have it by Thursday I promise. Hummmmm, if you sent VPPA my money and you were going to request my money back, why would you be short on my money; the money would not be coming from you? (Exhibit 6) That just mean that the money was never sent to the Company in the first and he probably used it to pay another debt. Stupid me. Additionally, he tells me to send him my name and number and he'll save it and call me when he brings the money. (I didn't send it because he thinks I'm stupid. I give him my number and he would save it so he would not have to pick up the phone once he sees my number).....Well he stopped taking my calls. I called him at another number he has (on 7/**/15), the person who picked up the said that he is not in. All the sudden I hear Jo (Steve) in the background telling the him to 'tell the person that you have the wrong number'......(Exhibit 7).

I WANT MY MONEY BACK YOU CROOK!!!!!!!!!!!!

I will have my lawyer track him down!Desired Settlement: I want the cash refund of $1500 that I paid immediately.

Review: I went to Car Approval Corporation in Oct 2013 and got a car from them I gave them a $6,000 Down payment they called me in May of 2014 asking me to come in and redo the paper work they messed up on it and the bank kicked back the deal. I then went there to see what was going on. I told them to give me my money back they asked for a receipt so the said I could get a credit that goes toward any car. I found cars on their lot that I like less then my down payment and they wont give me the car.Desired Settlement: I just want my money back.

Review: I was told I was getting my 2006 Acura TL for 10,000 and I had a 2 year contract. When I was finished paying the bank it should be 12,000. I was lied to for car Approval Corporation and 2 years later my car is still not paid off. The bank told me I still owe 13,000 for the vehicle and I'm in a 60 month contract. The car Approval Corporation took the money and ran. There business is no longer there plus they have a lot of complaints.Desired Settlement: I want the Car Approval Corporation business to pay my car off because they lied to me.

Review: My husband and I purchased a 2005 Acura MDX from Car Approval Corp on October **, 2014. At the time of financing the car we paid the dealership the taxes and registration fees so they could register our vehicle and they were going to FedEx us our license plate when it was all done. At the time of purchase they issued us a Texas Buyer Temporary plate (mind you the dealership is in [redacted]) and we were told that we would have our plates before the temps expired. So two months pass by and we don't receive our our plates and I got worries so I started calling the dealership on 12/**/15. I called at least 10 times a day everyday for two months with no responses. The phone was never answered. On February **, 2015 we receive a call from a guy named [redacted]. He informed me that the dealership had closed due to license being revoked and that he had been hired by Car Approval Corp to register all vehicles that had not been registered by [redacted] ( this was the person in charge of registering the vehicles) he said I was not the only person who was still waiting on their plates and he assured me that I would be receiving them soon. By this point my temps had been expired for almost 2 months, so he send me another temporary plate, this time from New Jersey. So now more time passes by and I still haven't received my plates so I call him several times for several days and he finally returns my call and tells me that he knows my temps are expired (again) and that he will send me a new one. He tells me that since he is busy helping the dealership move all the vehicles, CAr Approval Corp has hired an outside company to register the vehicles. He never gives me the name of the business handling this nor a phone number. Yet again a month passes by another temp expires I go days without being able to drive my car and I make phone calls that are not answered. Finally he returns my call tells me that I owe money at DMV so they can't register my car until I pay. He also tells me to drive to Brooklyn to pick up another temp plate and this time it's a Nebraska in transit temporary plate. I go to DMV I pay the taxes I owed and I send him the proof that's it's done. Now it has been three weeks and he doesn't answer any of my calls or texts. So I am now paying for a car that I can't drive and have no title for it. I contacted the company that is financing my vehicle and they also said they have not received a title. This whole experience is extremely difficult because this vehicle is the only one we own. We have two small kids that have school and appointments to go to. My husband needs the car to drive to work. Because of this people and they're negligence we have been struggling to get around. All I want is my title so I can register my car that's all.Desired Settlement: Send me the title so I can register the car. Or do what I payed you for, which was to register the car and send me my license plate. Call me with the name address and phone number of the business handling the registration process. Any of the above would suffice.
