We are very sorry [redacted] is unhappy with her purchaseWe have helped her in every way we couldShe first called us stating her car would not startTwo of us went to her home to assist herUpon arriving to her home we checked her hood temp and it was warm to the touch , meaning to us it had been just been drivenShe did state that it just wasn't getting warm enough inside (the heater)We added a little fluid to her overflowEverything was goodAbout weeks later she calls and says " Come get the car it is by the round about on Business Loop it over heated"Further discussion with [redacted] details about the morning were that she was heading to KC made it about miles and IT GOT HOT ? she added fluid to the radiator and continued to drive it until it quit..At this point [redacted] needed be get a different vehicleWe agreed to get her into a different vehicle and a new loan.Then an hour or so later [redacted] and another lady come into our Dealership.At this point we were still willing to help [redacted] until her lady friend began screaming profanities, cussing and threatening our staff and yelling at customers

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:they still are lying.I have the bill of sale stating the Toyota Camry was purchased from car barn and also the Honda accord was not driven on highway when it had started sputtering it was driven on Paris road goungoing miles an hour since it was driven through a neighbor hood.and the engine wasn't the problem the transmission was it was so jacked up it would have cost us 4200$ to fix? The *** complaint is not valid against THE CAR BARN OF COLUMBIAFirst thing wrong is they didn't buy the Toyota Camry from us...They did however trade their Toyota in on the Honda AccordWe do suggest to all of our customers to purchase the extended warranty, as these are
used cars and we do not know everything about their historyMr*** did call us shortly after purchasing the Honda stating it was sputteringWe went to where they were at and asked them to show us how they were driving it...They were driving in LOW gear not DRIVE...Anyone that knows how to drive should know you can not drive on the highway at and above in low gearThe *** were the cause of the engines failure..The warranty company would have covered if they would have followed the the correct procedureWe are very sorry for the inconvenience the *** suffered but all of it on the Honda was preventable if they would have A: Driven in the correct gear& B: Follow the Correct Procedure with The Cars Protectiion Plus Service Contract

To whom it may concern:
[redacted] did buy a 1997 Jeep from us. (Car Barn) He did buy this Jeep and inspect it before purchase of this Jeep. Since [redacted] is a mechanic at [redacted] and looked this Jeep over for 2 days we agreed...

after he returned the second day to sell him the Jeep. We didn't warranty the Jeep in any way. This Jeep is 18 years old and we hid nothing from him he was all underneath this Jeep for a long time so I believe he knew what he was buying since he never mentioned it to anyone till after he had bought the Jeep. I have pic that look like he took Jeep 4 wheeling it was very dirty and also have a video of him peeling out in the Jeep. When he was leaving the lot. I believe he has abused this Jeep and ran it hard and we sold it as is! No warranty!
